The food was good, although not hot. My husband’s soup was cool. Our server was excellent. Upon entering, we noticed our table was immediately in front of the door. It was neither intimate nor comfortable. Every time the door opened it was cold. We asked for a more appropriate table and were denied. We know it was due to efficiency, but it did not make for a nice intimate Valentines dinner. Perhaps they will consider moving the new partition all the way across to block the door, to make that room warmer.

Service slow, lighting is terrible, prime rib unavailable for Saturday night special and we were not informed until time to order. Also no coleslaw for the smoked meat platters and extra was charged for the salads in place. Very very expensive! Not good value especially the steak dinner offered in place of prime rib; $69 and that did not include a salad. Would not recommend to friends or family.

Was very disappointed we traveled one hour and they were out of 5 items of which I would have ordered 4 of not happy we will probably will not go back there for that reason only.

We have been going to Chemong Lodge for several years but during Covid, we did not. However, we went to a lovely Christmas Buffet and our waiter, Paul, alias Sweater Boy was wonderful. He even showed us the regular menu and we decided that we will definitely go back especially on the Thursday Prime rib night and Friday, the fish night. A lovely Holiday event tonight. Thank you.

We enjoyed our recent dinner at Chemong Lodge. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the French onion soup. The restaurant manager also checked in with us, which was a nice touch.
