   We had the carvery. The food was great, a good choice of vegetables and the meat (beef in our case) was just the right amount of pink. Desserts were tasty too. Service was super friendly and efficient. The new decor is much brighter than before and I loved the gold bench seats.

   Food was amazing, best rump steak I’ve ever had, tasted like fillet, great value and lots of promotions as well, good selection of beers and other drinks, service good and landlord very friendly

   Went for a mid week roast , it was aboslutly perfect , flavourful and hot lots of choice . Staff very attentive, and the decor is lovely. After a previous bad experience before the refurb this was like night and day. Lytchett Matravers is very lucky to have such a great pub.

   The perfect mothers day lunch, staff were lovely and very helpful. Carvery was very tasty! We were also able to bring our dog, which made for a very happy dog mum! Overall a very nice meal and look forward to coming back!

   So pleased to see the newly refurbished Chequers open for business. We had a lovely reasonably priced meal with friendly service. We will be back!

   Under new management and had a new make over and new staff. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic. Will be our new regular.
