Overall, I thought the food was not worth the price or the 4.7 rating. Service - I felt welcomed. My son and I visited the restaurant for his 16th birthday. Our waitress was very attentive and answered any questions asked. 5/5 Wait time - we were there for almost 2 hours. Wait time was a little long to receive meal, but not extremely long 3.5/5. Menu selections - I believe they had a decent variety of selections for a steakhouse. I saw options for those who may not want steak but not sure if there are many options for vegetarians who may be in your party. 4/5 Food- overall thought was “meh”. My son ordered the rib eye, Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. He enjoyed the flavor of the steak (though he said it was really tough) and the Mac and cheese. Neither of us were a fan of the sprouts (We may be a bit biased here as most roasted sprouts we eat in restaurants have a burned flavor to us. This was no exception). The Mac and cheese was not my cup of tea. It wasn’t horrible, just leaned more towards cafeteria Mac and cheese than “soul food” Mac and cheese. I originally ordered the Salmon. The texture and flavor were a bit “off” to me. It was not what I was expecting from a steakhouse. Typically it’s my go to if I’m not in the mood for a steakhouse. In addition the mashed potatoes tasted reheated and was lukewarm. The butter on top just sat there an a square hoping to melt. My waitress offered to replace the meal noting my dissatisfaction, and I chose to go the safe route and just have chicken fingers and fries. We also tried the shrimp as well as the lemon pepper wings as appetizers which we both enjoyed. I will note that the fried wings appeared to be just placed on top of the lemon pepper sauce instead of coated with it which was an odd choice. For that reason, without rolling the wing in the sauce, they just tasted like plain fried wings. The “vibe” was what you would expect. Relatively quite, low lighting, soft atmosphere 5/5 Would I return? No.

The food & service were both excellent as usual. Always consistently great. One of our favorite places to go for dinner. Highly recommended.

This restaurant could be a solid 5. The reservation system needs an overhaul. We waited 35 mins for our reservation. Then we got the worst table in the house! Other than that it was great.

We’re celebrating New Year’s Day. Had a great time celebrating at the Cherokee chophouse. The food was amazing and as usual, the ambience is amazing as usual I waited was outstanding. We’ll be back my third time there will be back as my favorite steakhouse.
