Welcome to Chez Billy Sud, your classic neighborhood French bistro in the heart of historic Georgetown!

We accept reservations for dinner on a rolling 30 day basis. Reservations can be made for parties up to 6 guests for bistro dining. Our private dining room can be reserved for large parties (7-16 guests) by contacting our event coordinator at events@chezbillysud.com. For general inquiries, please contact us at info@chezbillysud.com.

Depending on the weather, our patio is available on a first-come basis. Please check with your host upon arrival for patio seating.

Our Bar à Vin (located right next door) is open for dinner and drinks 7 days a week and requires no reservations.

We went for there for lunch on Valentine's Day. Everyone was very attentive and very nice. We've been there a lot before but not since the pandemic. I had a few gripes. The wooden chair was very hard on my back. I encouraged my wife, who does not drink, to order a mocktail while I ordered a cocktail. When I received the bill, I saw that the mocktail cost more than my cocktail. I mentioned this to our server and sad that clearly the absence of liquor in a drink has nothing to do with the price. Clearly people are ordering liquor less and the price of mocktails is being raised to compensate. But overall, it was an enjoyable time. We'll be back, but next time my wife will order a ginger ale.

Our first experience dining at Chez Billy was delightful. It is an intimate restaurant with beautiful decor and attentive staff. The Caesar Salad and Onion Soup started our meal and were delicious ( the Caesar the best I’ve ever had). The Tuna and Duck entrees were perfectly prepared. We ended our dinner with the cheesecake and rice pudding … delish! Billy Sud is a little Georgetown gem.

We continue to come back to Chez Billy Sud for special, romantic date nights. This visit was wonderful as always. The food is always spectacular, simple but executed so perfectly and just delicious. We love the wine by the glass list, great. variety and fun to try new things. Bar a vin next door is highly underrated and a gem of a place. Our server was friendly and we can't wait to come back.

First time dining at Chez Billy Sud - it was wonderful! We were in town to visit our daughter and found this cozy place with amazing food and service. We started by sharing the Coquilles St. Jacques which had great depth and flavor - terrific to share. We then enjoyed the following entrees - mussels with fries, sea bass and the salmon. Everything was terrific! We finished off by sharing the pot de creme and the cheesecake...so good! We'll be back, for sure!

Food was amazing. I had the sea bass and my wife had the duck leg. Our waiter Torrance was great. I left him with the decision of choosing my dinner and it was a great choice. We will be back!
