   I am still giving Chez Delmo a 5/5. Not because of my experience last Saturday (I was disappointed) , but because this is one of my favourite spots for seafood. Chez Delmo does not mess with your seafood: it has stayed classic and true and delicious. Saturday: hubby and I ordered the 3 tier seafood tower with a nice bottle of wine. The oysters were ho-hum with the exception of one bad-terrible-tasting oyster my husband swallowed before realizing it was bad. We have never left oysters behind before but we stopped eating them - well because you lose you appetite for them after experiencing such a thing. We were offered a dessert, which we declined and then a drink. We were told that was all he could do. We accepted the drinks (coffee and porto) but I don’t think Chez Delmo made it right with us. I would have expected that maybe we could be charged, at a minimum, for half for the oysters, stick with fixing what was wrong. - in the end, we will not stop going to Chez Delmo when we are in Montreal and we will not stop recommending it to our friends, especially if they want a spectacular seafood tower. It’s just that this time, we left with a bad taste in our mouth!

   C’est comme d’être reçu par la famille tellement l’accueil est chaleureux et familier. David nous accompagné pour une deuxième fois, avec une bonne humeur contagieuse et un professionnalisme impeccable. La nourriture, comme toujours, fut délicieuse et irréprochable. Quel endroit.

   Food was tasty, but sparse. 6 mini Lobster raviolis for $39 is my only gripe. Service was excellent, restaurant was good.

   Pour tout repas chez Delmo, la qualité de l'accueil, du service et des plats est assurée. D'ailleurs, le patron propriétaire est toujours sur place afin de garantir le maintien de cette qualité. Ce qui est un signe reconnu des restaurants signature.

   This was a five star dinner experience from start to finish - warm welcome, professional and friendly service, very comfortable seating with perfect spacing from other tables. Many local patrons which is a good sign. Most importantly, this is a foodie heaven with delicious seafood - try the calamari, lobster roll, salmon tartare and Canadian walleye swimming in butter. All veggie sides such as the mushrooms, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were yummy as well. We also enjoyed the crisp and perfectly chilled Chablis as well as fresh banquette with the tasty house tomato soup. Maple syrup dessert a la mode satisfied our sweet tooth. Highly recommend and will be back!
