Chez Dominique is a family run restaurant serving French and European food.
We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir.
We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks.
Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room. Bookings of 7-8 will be seated in the Private Dining Room.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chez Dominique where you can enjoy good food and drink in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

                                              Superb meal. Tasty but not too rich. Perfect quantities. A cut above other restaurants in every way as you’d expect from a French restaurant (having lived in France.). I would not have expected to pay £3 for extra bread. We were given 4 small cuts off a ficelle.

                                              Visited for the first time, Thursday lunchtime, having wanted to go for a while. We don’t live near, so promised ourselves next time we visited Bath. This lovely restaurant didn’t disappoint, the service was prompt and friendly and our meals superb. I had the sea bass which was a good size fillet, my friend the special of Gloucester Partridge. Both super tasty and great value for money on the two course lunchtime menu. We both had scallops to start and were happy to pay the small supplement. The kitchen kindly adapted the menu slightly to accommodate my mussel allergy. The restaurant was full at 1.30, the ambience was great, not too loud and everyone was friendly and smiling. We sat next to some regulars who said it never disappointed them. We didn’t have room for dessert - we will have that next time, can’t wait to go back.

                                              Wonderful meal, we both ate Onglet, perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and then shared the chocolate, honeycombed desert perfect end to the meal.
