Chef Kyle Robinson inspired by our local seafood, farms, and pastures creates a unique take on French comfort food classics. Located in a romantic New England Barn, right in the center of town. Tucked in a corner of bustling Kennebunkport Dock Square, let yourself be transported to the laid back French countryside.
Our menu is ever changing with what the season have to offer.

    Four of us had dinner to celebrate a birthday. The staff was attentive and thoughtful and the food was outstanding. The scallops and bourguignon were flawless! We all highly recommend Chez Rosa for any occasion.

    Outstanding! Food, service and atmosphere were first rate. The very comfortable layout at Chez Rosa contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The day boat scallops with farro were a special treat.

    Steak was prepared a perfect medium rare. The Frites were to die for. Service was excellent. The only suggestion would be to seal the window cracks at the corner table. The cold necessitated my spouse to keep her coat on most of the meal. An excellent evening and we will return shortly.

    Always excellent. Beef bourguignon was outstanding as was French onion soup. They always source the best Maine oysters. Staff is attentive but not too much- wonder experience.

    This was our second visit in about six months. As locals we wanted to wait until the wave of visitors had passed to spend a quiet evening without a crowd. My steak & frites was good but my wife’s mussels special was abysmal. To produce a poor mussels dish in Kennebunkport has to take some effort and as a Frenchman whose passion in cooking I take offense when an otherwise elementary Meridional dish is so badly executed. The mussels were average in size (which is good) but the sauce was neither creamy nor unique. The dish was bland and for a basic dish at a wannabe French restaurant where your your cheapest red Bordeaux “Chateau Brandeau du Tertre 2020” will set you back by $65 (Wine Enthusiast’s price is $16), it does not cut it. Lastly, this time around I refused to re-order crème brȗlée because they can’t even handle the cream . Take note, it is a recipe: egg yolk, sugar & whipping cream. Voilà!

    The food was excellent . We had scallops and steak and they were cooked to perfection . House wine was great. The service and ambience - wonderful. Highly recommend.
