The food was great and service were perfect as well. Just need to be more frequent with the meat. When I start eating I want keep on going. Can’t wait too long for the coming one.

The reason I gave it a 1 star was because of the manager trying to make it right. From the beginning we had a bad experience. Our reservation was at 8:30pm we arrived and checked in on time. The hostess at the front gave us a 5-10 min wait which we could sit down in the waiting area or grab a cocktail at the bar. We opted to grab a cocktail as it was NYE. About 20 min passed and we were still not seated. My husband went to the host stand and the hostess said we would be sat in another 10 min. At this point we knew because of NYE holiday the restaurant was obviously busy. 10 min rolled by and we were finally called to walk to our table. The hostess brings us to the table and it’s right next to the kitchen. This this point we’re both upset we wanted 30 min passed our reservation time and are sat right next to the entrance of the kitchen. I kindly asked the hostess if we could please be sat at another table in which she began to laugh and said yes but you’re going to have to wait another 30 min. By that point I asked to speak to the manager. When I spoke to him within 2 min we were at another table ready to enjoy dinner. (He did offer us a round of cocktails on him for waiting over reservation time and table next to kitchen) The reason we opted for this restaurant is it’s a Brazilian steakhouse and we wanted to try it out for NYE. Also their NYE menu looked amazing. Our option for dinner menu ($85 per person full experience ) we began with salad bar. Everything was great until we were ready for our meats to come around. We flipped our cards and it took the waiters forever to come around and carve meats. It took so long we had to keep asking our server for the meats we wanted. Even after that it just took so much time and empty plates. Other Brazilian steak houses are more on point with bringing things around quickly. We tried to give it the benefit of the doubt with holiday however it seemed they over booked reservations and didn’t have enough people working.

Was not a good experience for the news yers eve. The service wasn’t as the regular days. I think the restaurant wasn’t prepared for the event. The service was to slow and the food wasn’t good, especially for the price charged

Food quality was good but service was slow. The gauchos did not come on a regular basis and some even missed coming by our table so we had to ask our server for certain cuts of meat and had to wait for them to come to our table. The salad bar was not as good as the salad bar in Chima Fort Lauderdale.

I wanted to share our experience from our recent New Year's Eve visit to Chima Steakhouse. Our first visit on December 5th for my boyfriend's birthday was excellent - we had such a great time that we were excited to come back. That night we spent $170 including alcoholic drinks (before tip) and it was worth every penny. Unfortunately, our NYE visit was really disappointing. When we got the bill, we were shocked to see it was $236 after tip - and we only had water this time (at $8 per bottle). Looking at the receipt, we noticed they charged us for a "NYE special" at $85 per person, but there was nothing different about the food. The website shows prices at $64.95 per person including the salad bar, with no mention of holiday pricing. Our waiter was great, but we spent long periods just sitting and waiting for the meats to come around. It felt really awkward. After such an excellent first experience, this visit was particularly disappointing. I was originally excited to bring a friend here, but after this experience, I don't think we'll be back.

Food was absolutely fantastic! We went (early) for New Year’s Day dinner, so avoided the crowd and had a fairly quiet dining room. Steak of course was great, but so was the shrimp, pineapple, bananas and dessert. We will return.

Had a wonderful experience, Nicole, Jonah and Nathan had great customer service, they were always making sure we had all we needed, plates, silverware drinks ECT. Loved everything, asthmophere, vibe, people classy. I will definitely return.

The food at Chima was wonderful. My issue is with our server Hugo. He was non existent for most of our dinner. We asked for regular water and when we received our bill, we were charged $51 for WATER. When I asked him to verify that he was charging us $51 for water, he replied, “yeah”, with a nasty little smirk on his face. It’s a nice restaurant and the food is great. I know, walking in through the door that will be paying more and I expect to do so. If you are going to charge me $51 for water, please let me know in advance, especially when I asked for regular water. Simply shameful.

Chima restaurant Management is reckless, irresponsible and careless. No one should eat at this restaurant! They frequently damage people attire with grease as stated by the Manager Alan Akamine, they do not do anything about it. They tell you they will call and they dont. The do NOT care about the clients at all. There are better Brazilian Steakhouse options that will not give you a bad experience and hanging with a dry cleaners bills. Do NOT go there. It is overpriced and not so high quality.
