ChoLon, which translates to "big market,” is named after the largest Chinese-influenced market in Saigon, Vietnam. At ChoLon, Chef Lon Symensma brings to life his extensive culinary travels throughout Southeast Asia. ChoLon's menu features inspired interpretations of traditional dishes found across the region, with presentations ideal for sharing. From dim sum or "small bites" to large family style plates, ChoLon offers authentic flavors for the modern palate. Delicious food and server able to help us with recommendations. Music was loud and then people speak loud so hard to maintain a conversation

Cholon is fantastic-very easy to create your own tasting menu of delights. Donald and his crew are talented and craft full, creating fantastic dumplings, Bao buns, starters and mains that tingle the palate. Perfect for pre theater!

Prices have skyrocketed since COVID -- but the food is simply not as good. The French Onion soup dumplings are really doughy and chewy, unlike before. The stir-fried Malaysian noodle dish lacked flavor and spice. Just very average and disappointing.

Our dinner was fantastic. The service was spot on. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Our server brought out dessert to help us celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. It was a fantastic celebration at a terrific restaurant! I highly recommend this restaurant! It never disappoints.

Any restaurant that enforces a credit card deposit to hold a reservation better be pretty darn good. This place was awful and not worth it at all! I actually had to send dishes back because they were inedible. They serve their bao buns deconstructed- why? The tempura acorn squash was so covered in batter you couldn’t tell what was under the batter and the grease coming off every dish was disgusting. I left completely dissatisfied, with my mouth caked in grease and a massive tab to boot. Don’t waste your time here. The food is appalling.

Excellent date night. Food was tasty and inventive. The dumpling wrappers and the Malaysian noodles were a bit too thick and chewy for my taste but the flavors were amazing and really well blended. Excellent service. The best I’ve had in a really long time. Dishes were timed perfectly and they even gave us a complimentary anniversary dessert, which was our favorite dish of the night! Highly recommend.
