Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavor to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for Breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Just a little miscommunication about blue cheese and goat cheese on the steak. My fault I shouldn’t order something when it’s not an option . Lesson learned blue cheese is disgusting. Our waiter did great considering how busy it was and it seemed like he had a large section , I’m assuming serving up and downstairs .

    We returned here after we moved away 5 years ago as this was our go to in Edmonton . Our server Joe was excellent and very pleasant. Unfortunately when our food finally arrived it was not hot and some of it was cold. When asked about the food we let our server know it was on the colder side of warm and were offered a return. Due to our time commitment at the PBR we thanked her but needed to eat. The manager was kind enough to comp our meals for which we were thankful. I believe this was a one of and would still recommend Chop as the service has always been great and the food was tasty. As usual customer service made a difference.

    Went before hockey game took ten minutes to ask for drinks,bloody caesar was mainly ice no Clamato, mussels were cold and very small , Crab cakes were terrific!

    My steak was literally cooked perfectly and it was so delicious. Enjoyed the food very much and the service was great too!
