   We were seated right away in the almost empty restaurant. Our waitress brought water and came back and asked if we were ready to order. We said 5 mins … she never returned. 20 mins later someone else came over and took our order. Appetizers arrived in time and then ….. crickets. Another 20 mins and the waiter came back. Steaks were good but not hot. After eating we waited another 30 mins. We asked about dessert said we needed a min or two to decide …. Waiter returned with check - I guess he decided no dessert for us. All of this would be totally fine however when you spend over 500 for three people you expect better service.

   I was on a first date and it couldn’t have been any better between the food, ambience, and the server , it was perfect. We will most definitely be back and I have recommended it to several people since. Thank you so much!! Also the lobster is absolutely amazing!!!

   First time visitors, celebrating our 2 yr / 3 mo anniversary (toasted with champagne *applause*), and we were not disappointed. Anita was our server, and provided not only stellar service, but made welcome recommendations as well. We ordered a bottle of wine that wasn't in stock, and Anita provided a fantastic alternative (and provided knowledge of the Rhône region in France). Oysters (raw) were fantastic, beet and orange salad delicious and light, and the steaks... we had The Gleason and the NY Strip - top notch. We had the creamed spinach and roasted carrots as our sides and topped our whole dinner off with this crazy awesome cheesecake with a berry/port wine reduction. Fantastic dining experience all around. Shout out to the runners who brought out the food and bread, too. Great work! The only negatives were that it was hazy/smoky inside the whole time, and the chairs (while super comfortable) were a bit low for the table.

   Not a New York steakhouse. Steak was disappointing. Service was fair. Sides are excellent. For this price point they need to up their service. Place was not crowded. Waiter has to be more attentive. Need a better exhaust system as a haze from the kitchen hangs over the restaurant. Overall the decor is fine. Dessert was a comedy as I received a birthday dessert was no candle and no one else at the table was asked if they wanted Dessert. Never offered coffee/tea.

   We were pleasantly surprised to learn about the happy hour special menu. I had a filet and my wife had salmon. Both were excellent.

   My husband and I dined here for our birthdays. We had the Delmonico ribeye, crabcakes, wedge salad, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was fantastic and this is a staple every time we come to Hilton head Island. Jake is always a pleasure to see and provides excellent wine pairing suggestions and makes each trip memorable!

   Great cut of meat. They do a Ribeye Cap witch is a top cut of meat you don't find in many Chop Houses. Cooked perfect and went great with a nice glass of red wine. Great cocktails as well. Good food and good service, what more can you ask for!!

   Best night ever @ Chop House 119. Food, Ambiance & Service top notch. Try the Bad Boy oysters, Lobster Tempura and Crab Louie. Manny at the bar is the best. Anne and Anita will make your night. The staff is dedicated to great service - drop your napkin & another appears. We are not steak people, however our friends are. They rave about the rib eye and wagyu. Enjoy. On Friday, Bobby Ryder, a real Local Legend, is the entertainment. Rob, the owner, is always there to ensure all is to your liking. Wine lovers, this is the place. Lou L.

   The waitstaff for our table was new to their roles. They added gratuity to the bill for 6 people when the website said they would only for over 8. Since the waiter spilled on me and brushed the bread crumbs onto my lap, I think they were worried I wouldn’t tip. The food was fantastic tho.

    Never disappoints. My favorite go to for meeting up with friends and girls night. Prime Rib was beyond amazing. If you love salad the Butter Lettuce salad is a must try. Also, they have added a 3 course fixed price menu every night from 5-6. The best Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives.
