Each guest will begin with a morsel of A-5 Japanese wagyu beef and the be guided to make selections of lobster, and prime steaks as well as side dishes and desserts

    They were understaffed for Christmas Eve lunch service. Server was great but he was run ragged. The lobster bisque was cold and the 8oz filet was fine, but not up to Chops’ standards.

    Excellent as it has been for many years! It’s my family tradition to have Christmas at Chops or one of the Buckhead Life restaurants

    We've dined at Buckhead Life restaurants hundreds of times, going back to Panos & Paul's in the 1980s. And almost always the meals we have there are flawlessly prepared with perfect service. Not so this time. My daughter's fillet was severely undercooked and mine past my order of medium rare. She sent hers back which, as you can imagine, upsets the entire cadence of the meal and service. Inexplicably, the assistant waiter took my bread plate before the mains were served without bothering to ask if I was finished. On top of that the service itself was a step slow, perhaps due to a new fangled app they have to get and pay the tab at the table without any further human intervention. That said, the lobster bisque, crab and chili shrimp appetizers were all routinely excellent, and the sides-green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts and corn mash were well done, though the portions for three were a tad smallish.

    Six of us in the party and we all ordered the filet. All six steaks were undercooked and barely warm. I believe cold would be more accurate. Very disappointing.

    We came to celebrate my Mom’s birthday and she was so happy. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent.

    It’s our family tradition go to Chops the Saturday before Christmas. We look forward to it every year and it never disappoints!! Kevin and his team were exceptional!! The only issue was a very loud table of your women doing a gift exchange. They behaved as though they were the only ones in the place. I’m all for having fun but be cognizant and respectful of the other patrons in the restaurant trying to have a lovely evening.
