   Chourangi was amazing! Super tasty food with unique Indian flavors and really chill vibes. Service was so lovely and very attentive.

   Food was authentic and delicious. A couple of the items weren't available. Restaurant wasn't too busy so the experience was nice and relaxed. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Would definitely come back again.

   Absolutely outstanding! We were there on the Bengali New Year Day and had the best feeling of Home like food along with the superb service of Chourangi. Brilliant Railway Mutton Curry paired with rice while the Aloo Posto and Chola Dal with Luchi accompanied by Baigan Bhaja was comfort from the heavens! Paired with a lovely Pinot! Rounded off with Langcha Rabdi and Mango Doi at the end. Superb! Loved the experience as a second time visitor and highly, highly, highly recommend Chourangi! Keep up the great work, guys!

   So i went for bengali new years celebration and ordered few dishes from the festive special menu and their al a cart menu- the luchi ( puri ) was nice, but the railway mutton curry was very salty and bland. I also ordered sorshe hilsa ( mustard hilsa fish ) which was salty again and the mustard was not cooked properly, so i couldn’t even eat the curry for which i had ordered it. The biryani was good but the lamb chops came cold. It felt like they just applied the marination and didn’t grill it properly. This was my third time, where i just tried to follow the Bengali connection but i would rather try ro cook at home that to spend so much. I also ordered baked roshogolla, and i wasn’t sure if it was stale or just tasted bad. It was so rubbery and tasted bad. Also the waiters are pretty rude as they would just ask you to get up and say that a family is waiting to take that table and then there would be nobody taking the table for next 10 mins

   We celebrated our second wedding anniversary at Chourangi and went with the signature tasting menu and wine pairing. From start to end everything was done perfectly, food was amazing and the staff was extra attentive for our anniversary. We had a great time.

   After reading some of the reviews, I was worried the portions would be quite small but they were decent and everything we ordered was delicious! I can recommend the Calcutta Fish Fry and the overnight black dhal in particular.The service was fantastic.

    Best bengali dishes in London. It was our anniversary dinner and loved it. We are definitely coming back again.
