                                                    Surprised to find on Open Table. A hip contemporary taco place…good food if you know what to expect. Not for someone looking for Tex Mex. Love the Thai Taco. A variety of Margaritas…I asked for a ‘regular’ one, and it was good. Music is hip hop, and too loud for the room. Good for a quick bite…not for dinner plans.

                                                    Apparently Josh the former manager was let go, now Gina is the new manager. Not impressed with her planning of events vs hours, or her ability in honoring reservations, or approach to clients. We booked 6:45 on OpenTable for a table indoors. She has a sign outside that says seat yourself (not sure how you reserve a table then) and stated they are closing early at 7:30. Walking in the new manager roped off two booths market reserved. Logical we would believe one was for us since there were no open tables. Apparently those were reserved for an after hours wedding party once they closed and she would not seat us there. She offered wooden chaired no back high top, except we have two small kids 7/9 which is sub optimal. Next it was outside. We just spent 6 hours outside at a kids soccer tournament. She claimed she was honoring our reservation even though she would not seat us inside, apparently because they didn’t want to clean either booth again? No, we reserved a table/booth inside. We just drove 13 miles in traffic from Bradenton to Sarasota with kids, so we sat outside only to be rushed to finish in 45 minutes before they closed early. Server was apologetic for rushing us, food excellent, Gina not so much.

                                                    Probably not enough people working for the amount of customers. Service was not great, probably because of the lack of servers. Food was average, much better last year when we visited.
