I was referred to City Grille by a friend, I made a reservation for 6 at 7pm. Called and changed the time to 8pm. The host was accommodating in that aspect. The waiter took forever to come and take our orders, then our food took forever to come out. When we received our food, majority of us did not like the taste or it was burnt. It was my bday dinner and I did not enjoy it, it's a cool look ambience inside but the food and service sucked. I will not be returning.

Great lunch and service was excellent. The only problem was parking . But that was because the cold and raining

Kaylie was a gem! She was so considerate, patient, and friendly! The manager came by and checked on us and that was a great conversation! I will be back again to check out more items on the menu! The Spanish octopus was amazing! The Virginia oysters were big, fresh, and delicious. My ribeye, asparagus, and coral and bacon risotto was cooked PERFECTLY!

Had a fabulous experience last night at City Grille. The only item that was not up to par, were the oysters. they were somewhat disappointing. Our server, Mackenzie, was exceptional. My only criticism is that I wish the menu was not almost a duplicate of Eleven South. We live at the beach and Eleven South is one of our favorite beach restaurants, but when I come to Jacksonville, I hope for something a little different.

The food was outstanding. We had the oysters, lobster tail, hamachi, nigiri, prime ribeye and salmon. The oysters were fresh and the different toppings were unique and tasty. The Hamachi crudo is a can’t miss. The prime ribeye was well marbled and so tender. The service was impeccable and our drink glasses were never empty. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I will be back soon.

Everything was excellent! The food, the service… All outstanding! Cannot recommend the short ribs enough. Perfect meal on a chilly night!

An amazing experience! Prompt and attentive service. As a pescatarian I had many options to chose from. Food, beverages and service were great!
