    Joins us for passed hors d'oeuvres and over 30 Champagne and sparkling wine selections!!! Osters, Caviar, and more will be passed throughout the night and a Caviar Tasting Bar will be available as an upgrade. Tasting begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30. The kitchen will open at 7:00pm with a limited ala carte dinner menu for Wine Social guests only. Attendance is by reservation only and space is limited.

    My husband stated, "City Grill is so comfortable. They make us feel at home!" From the moment we entered we knew we would be happy. Ian gave us a choice of tables and that made getting my husband who is handicap seated quite easy. Pasha was the server and he knows us. He made suggestions and our experience was a delight. The octopus was scrumptious and I adored the apple blue cheese salad. We are bringing our son on Wednesday. We know he will fall in love with City Grill. Thank you for being in our neighborhood.

    This was our first time dining at City Grille and it will definitely not be our last. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter, Pascha (sp) was so attentive and made great recommendations so that we could experience a couple of the menu options. And the food- absolutely incredible. Everything was prepared perfectly, the portions were perfect, and we never felt rushed. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences we’ve ever had in Jacksonville.

    The worst steak I have ever had. If I had not been with people from out of town I would have sent it back and not paid for it. But the dog enjoyed it.

    We’ve been to this restaurant a few times and we’ve had good experiences. I guess they had an off night on Tuesday. The service was poor and the food was average at best. The server forgot to put in one of our main course dishes. There was some confusion around our drink order but once they figured that out the drinks were good. Another server came over and singled us out by making a comment about how noisy we were but the entire restaurant was loud. More than likely there was a little racial profiling going on with that particular server. Just wasn’t a good look for the restaurant. The manager eventually stepped in but it was too late. At that point we didn’t feel welcomed. There’s a lot of competition in this area, will think twice before dining here again.

    Branzino was delicious as was the shrimp appetizer. Salmon and steak were under cooked, however. Could have just been an off night for the chef. We will return.

    Loving the ambience both for casusl and special celebrations. The service amazing and food especially the oysters were the table favorite. Thank you Karen & John for sharing your incredible talents..
