Second location from brothers Dario and Pietro Gallo. After the great San Diego success Civico opens in Los Feliz bringing a new generation of Italian cuisine – fresh, light and authentic. By using proper cooking techniques, our flavors are natural and pure. Our menu is a homage to our southern Italian roots and reflects what’s being served in Italy today.

You can also find an extensive vegan menu that incorporates many of the best Italian dishes. Try us out and see for yourself why we were voted as one of the top 50 vegan restaurants in the U.S!

We believe in sustainability, both in our food and in the design of our restaurant. Mia moglie e io abbiamo cenato qui stasera. Abbiamo trascorso una serata fantastica. Il cibo era molto autentico e la selezione di vini è incredibile. Il servizio è stato ottimo e attento. Diventeremo sicuramente clienti abituali. Grazie mille, Pietro! Alla prossima!

This was our first time dining at Civico. It came highly recommended by one of our friends. I read the reviews on line and almost everyone raved over the food. The only complaints were about the noise level and the slowness of service. We concur with previous reviews that the noise level was high and service was slow. Our greatest disappointment was the food. They served focaccia bread with pesto . The foccacia was good but the pesto had no salt in it. That was the theme of the meal. We all ordered different pastas. The pastas were cooked well but again, there was absolutely no salt in any dish. My wife ordered the holiday special with lobster. The lobster was undercooked. My daughter ordered the spaghetti limone e gamberi. It was pasta with a cheese sauce that tasted like baby food. There was not even a hint of lemon or salt in it. My knife had dirt on it and I had to ask for it to be changed. When the waiter cleaned our table, he smeared the debris on it rather than cleaning it. The best thing was the Burratta. We did not order dessert since we were not pleased with the meal! So overall, it was a very disappointing experience and we will not be going back.

What a GEM, the experience was heartfelt and fun. The host was engaging and gave us wonderful tips for the menu. The staff were attentive but not over the top. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the best authentic Italian meals we have had in a very long time. Best thing is the prices are not super crazy. A must try!! It will be a regular for us.

Food was deliciois! They had holiday specials and got the beef stew. Meat was very tender and taste was very good. It was a great night for a New Year’s Eve celebration. Ambiance was wonderful, soft lighting and greens all around, very Tuscany ! Our server was really nice including service in general. This is my 2nd time and never been disappointed. I would highly recommend this to place. Only problem, parking on neighborhoods. We took UBER and it worked out well !

An enjoyable dining experience of great food, atmosphere and service. I especially enjoy the separate vegan menu. I wish more restaurants would do this as it removes the hassle of a making a complicated order and wondering if the food you’re getting is truly vegan. And, the vegan options are fantastic - not some lazy, unimaginative dish that other restaurants offer.
