Civico 47 is now welcoming BYO wine every lunch and Thursday all day! If you’ve got a something special at home, or have a favourite wine that’s not on our list - now’s your chance to bring it with you and enjoy at Civico along side chef Matteo Zamboni’s modern Italian menu. Corkage is $25 per bottle at lunch and dinner (Thursdays only). We have beautiful Plumm glassware, decanters where required, and advice on food pairing from our resident sommelier Luke Collard. T&C’s: Maximum one 750ml bottle (or equivalent) per adult customer. Not available when dining on our Pranzo or First Table offers. BYO is at our discretion for groups of 7 or more, please speak to the restaurant for more information.

I’ve had to wait a long time to get to try civico 47 as I don’t leave in Sydney but it was worth the wait. The duck was amazing and so was the fish of the day and Zuppa inglese was a wonderful surprise. We paired it all with a great Malvasia Fiano from apulia and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, superior services and lovely food. Truly recommend civico 47 to everyone.

The service was outstanding and the quality of the pasta very good but there was nothing exceptional about the food apart from an interesting (and delicious) interpretation of Zuppa Inglese.

Amazing dining experience. Our server was so so lovely and had a laugh with us. The food was absolutely incredible! 1 of the best focaccia breads ever and the truffle pasta was incredible!

Excellent experience again - food service ambience were faultless. A great time had by all. Only issue was they had run out of the NZ flounder

Not the same experience we had before, our table was left unattended for a long time, I order a second glass of red to finish the entrees but arrived after I finish them. Overall the experience was alright, but not as great as the last time.

well prepared food, variety of choices, fish expertly cooked, wine was perfectly chosen but it is not a cheap option

The starters & entrees were excellent. We'd go back just for them. My partner had the whole trout which she loved. I had the beef tenderloin which didn't impress me. The rosemary potatoes were excellent, so good. However, the butterleaf salad was disappointing, nothing special. We were reminded after we'd eaten that we'd pre-ordered the lobster. This needed to be done at the beginning. Maybe I was too full to appreciate it, although my partner really liked it. They brought out a small cake for my partner's birthday which we really appreciated. We were told that the menu would be explained to us, but all we had was someone asking if we were ready to order! The waiters however were very attentive. So some good and some average.
