Clandestino is the moody sister of Tac/Quila. Serving elevated and fresh Mexican food. Located right next to the Marilyn Monroe statue in downtown Palm Springs. The restaurant is headed by Chef Gustavo Carreon who has worked diligently to create a menu that highlights the best that his home country has to offer. Some Clandestino exclusives include stuffed squash blossoms and cochinita pibil. We have 100% outdoor seating.

The food and service is always outstanding. I think this restaurant has the best Tex-Mex food in the Palm Springs area.

Really great restaurant. Excellent experience. Food was delicious and original. Service was outstanding. Love the outdoor tables. Will definitely be back.

Clandestino is one of the best restaurants in Coachella Valley. Their unique spin on traditional Mexican flavors are not to be missed. We think they have the best calamari in the valley and their green pozole is to die for. I'd be remiss if we didn't also mention our favorite server, Cris. She is a delight and is fluent in Spanish so we both enjoy seeing and speaking to her.

We definitely like it here and come quite often. Our friend thought the short rib taco was a bit overpriced for what he got, he suggested more rice and beans would be a nice filler. My shrimp fajitas were very good as always. My husband is a big fan of the red burrito and loved it once again. Veg nachos are killer

The restaurant never disappoints. Seated promptly and water was delivered immediately. Francis our amazing server was promptly at the table to greet us and get drink orders and appetizers order. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing. The service spot on and the food was off the chain. Our server is absolutely the best with an awesome personality and her knowledge of the menu and dishes was superior. Our experience was incredible as always. Love Clandestino! ♥️

Took a friend from out of town. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The space is great. It’s always a go to for my friends from out of town.

Clandestino is easily the best Mexican restaurant in Palm Springs. We had the squash blossoms and shrimp enchiladas both were outstanding. We enjoyed the view of Marilyn Monroe behind the restaurant while dining. Our servers and busers were appropriately attentive. Overall great meal. G

Clandestino never fails to deliver in excellence for food and service. Stopped by with a guest for a margarita and steak nachos…..both were excellent. A really large serving of nachos! I live locally and this restaurant is a favorite go to; you won’t be disappointed!
