Breathing new life into Lower Fifth Avenue, Claudette is an elegant Provençal restaurant steps from Washington Square Park. Opened in May 2014, Claudette joins her sister restaurants Rosemary's, Roey's and Bobo in offering a warm and inviting atmosphere to share great food with friends and family.

Executive Chef Ari Bokovza’s style celebrates the rich flavors of the Mediterranean and Provence while maintaining a respect for individual ingredients. His menu focuses on local produce, seafood and North African aromatics found in the Provençal kitchen. Claudette's cellar highlights the wines of Southern France, with a wide selection of Rose and Chateauneuf du Pape. The bar offers a list of unique aperitifs, cocktails and an extensive vin au verre selection, including rose on tap.

Esperienza molto positiva. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo ne contesto dell’iniziativa “Restaurant Week “. Ambiente molto accogliente ed elegante. Personale gentile ed attento, servizio curato e veloce. Piatti ”piacevoli sorprese” con gusti puliti ma allo stesso tempo nuovi. Un posto da consigliare e dove tornerei molto volentieri.

I love this restaurant. The service is always incredible. The food is always delicious. And I think the ambience is so homey and gracious. This place is in my neighborhood so I consider myself to be very lucky to be able to go there often. Please support our restaurants during this very difficult time. They are taking every precaution. And if anyone knows how to sanitize properly it's a restaurant!

Very nice time, the food was good and the ambiance was perfect. A great mix of casual and formal. Don’t go there hungry though.

There is NOTHING Provençal about the menu that is mostly Moroccan and middle eastern, but the meals were yummy and the service was impeccable. A little minus for the typos on the menu: if you want to pass as French, use the right spelling for Hors d’œuvre!

Claudette is always special. The Halibut was outstanding and memorable. Claudette was the choice for a special evening and it was that indeed! Thank You.

Charming French Moroccan bistro. The food is really good. Casual vibe. Attentive service. I cannot give it 5 stars because the bathroom was a mess. Not cleaned adequately.
