Claudio Pirollo grew up in Belgium where he soon discovered his passion for cooking as he wandered around his father’s fine Italian épicerie (grocery store) and watched his mother prepare dinner every day. The dual influence of Italy and Belgium triggered Chef Pirollo’s aspirations to develop his knowledge and experience with different flavors.
A Trattoria is not a pizzeria, it is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante but more formal than an osteria. It is similar to what the French call Bistrot.
Trattorias are traditionally family owned, casual, rustic neighborhood restaurants found throughout all of Italy that offer fresh, regional, local and family specialties on the menu.

Bravo Claudio's Table! We enjoyed a variety of superb pasta dishes and salads on a Saturday evening. The ambience is glowing and bright. Service was exceptional -- attentive and personal. And we appreciated the upgrades in soundproofing so that noise is not an issue. We are in the neighborhood and are now confirmed regulars.

Not your typical red sauce Italian restaurant. This is a foodies establishment. You will be impressed!

We had two vegetarians in our group, and the waiter was very helpful in explaining which dishes they would find suitable. Everything was perfect. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Well done!

As longtime fans of Et Voila, we could not be more delighted with Claudio’s (now not quite so) new place on MacArthur. Terrific pastas, pizzas, and fish. Extensive Italian wine list. Great for adults and kids alike. And, as one would expect from Claudio and his team, a wonderful and welcoming staff. Love this place!!!

Great lunch. Antipasto appetizer superb ! Meat pasta wonderful! Great chicken parm. Desert panatone with Anglese sauce and panna cotta fantastic. Waiter was great service nice helpful! Have been there like ten times always among best Italian food in DMV car none.

Food very good as always. Wife had eggplant parmagiane and I had pasta dish. Side caesar salad could have had more salad dressing. A bit loud for 1 in the afternoon but passable. Overall will return again!

Had another spaghetti selection w/ warm Chestnut soup…..Alex and Phillip were great……Caudilo is a really superb chef

Claudio’s Table is fantastic!! Real authentic Italian which can easily compete with food in Italy! Pasta is homemade and delicious! The pizza has an amazing crust and is oven baked to perfection. They even had soft serve gelato…Yum! Loved our server as well. Food came out fast and he was very attentive. Love this restaurant.
