   Great food, lovely interior and atmosphere with friendly service. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

   Terrible service. Arrived for a reserved table that I had booked a few hours earlier. They had the reservation but hadn’t reserved a table and said it was my fault because I hadn’t booked with enough notice (so why offer available tables to book on the app) the guy didn’t offer any apology or seem to care at all. We were given a small table with high stools to eat dinner for a group of 5. The noise level in there is epic so not a place for dinner and a conversation. Probably ok if you just want drinks.

   C&W was a great venue for a late Sunday lunch/dinner - not many places open in the City and surrounding area on a Sunday, so this was a super 'find' (I had been before but a long time ago) The staff were very friendly and lovely, the food was super (burgers, but good burgers - I sort of wish I'd had the roast as it looked fab - just wasn't 'that hungry') Made to feel welcome, which considering things (late Sunday afternoon, quiet, and in some venues in these circumstances staff can make you very aware they'd rather not be there... - not so here. )

   Awful, they didn’t have our booking noted down and stuck us on a table that was far too small in a fairly rude way. When they came over to take the order they didn’t have half of the menu available and were not apologetic. Poor experience

   Lovely welcoming pub, amazing bar staff. We had the roast dinner which was fresh and scrumptious, although could have done with being slightly hotter. Chef came out and was also so friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

   The staff were disorganised: we prebooked, but this didn't matter because they told us we had to reorder on arrival, they missed several dishes off of orders, and food came out at different times, and food often came out cold.
