   We really like this restaurant. Whenever we are in Williamsburg we make it a point to eat here. The food is always very good and the service is great. Highly recommended!

   The folks at Cochon on 2nd do a wonderful job from greeting you at the door, to the immediate service at your table, to your ordering, food preparation & delivery, to dessert. I can't say enough about the terrific food quality and service. Our waiter - who was Johnathan I believe was quite attentive and responsive. The Bar in particular is quite good and the Bartender Emily we had was outstanding. She discussed different aperitifs with us and was even able, without difficulty, to make a special request! I highly recommend Cochon on 2nd. It is a bit on the more expensive side, but it is worth it especially for special occasions. If you haven't tried Cochon on 2nd I highly recommend that you do.

   First time diner here and what a wonderful surprise. Light jazz playing in the other room. Very nice ambiance. All of our meals were tasty and perfectly prepared. Service was great. Her suggestions were spot on Absolutely one of the top restaurants in the area. Don’t miss it!

   Another fantastic experience at this hidden gem. We were ecstatic to see our favorite appetizer make it to the menu so we can order it every time we go! The staff was amazing and our compliments to the Chef!

   Fabulous evening at Cochon on 2nd. Server Kaitlin was attentive but didn’t hover, so yay. She made good recommendations based on our interests too. We sat near near the hearth which doubled our pleasure at the ambiance. As you can’t eat ambiance, know that the meal was exceptional. At our table there were appetizers that included the tuna poke bowl (served in a large martini glass and packed with ahi tuna), and the octopus salad (grilled perfectly and dressed lightly with an Asian influenced vinaigrette.) Portions were quite generous. Dinners were steaks, a whole fried sea bass, and more ahi tuna. All of us were absolutely delighted in our choices and didn’t want to leave! A value for the overall experience; service, quality, presentation, and ambiance.

    Have had consistently good experiences. Servers are knowledgeable and caring. When I turned down bread service, I was offered a little cheese & veggies instead. What a nice touch! Caesar with anchovies. Crisp and tasty. Chicken special - flavor bomb and beautifully cooked Filet - edge to edge perfectly cooked (maybe sous vide) sides well seasoned and delicious.
