    Asked hostess which line to get into to check in since I had a reservation. She told me where to stand, while she took the 2 people in front of her. Before she was done with those people another customer interrupts her with my same question in which she gives the same response. Once she was done with the 2 customers in front of me she starts checking in the customer with reservations that asked after me. I interrupted her and brought it to her attention that she should be assuring us before him since we were there first. She rudely repeat over and over that the order doesn’t matter that we will both be seated at the same time. We saw that customer sat over 30 mins later as we I was eating. I didn’t appreciate the hostess trying to falsely correct me. Coffee and concha cart never came to our table. Host was only check on us twice during our entire meal. The second was when we were getting ready to ask for our check in which she randomly tells us she was in her break… normally when waiters go on breaks they interrupt and introduce who is covering!

    The view was amazing. Great service & great food! I recommend making reservations to avoid the wait.

    Delicious food and amazing views of the bay. Can’t wait to come back again! So worth the drive from LA to experience this gem.

    If we were basing this review only on the food I would give it a 12/10. However the dining experience we had was subpar. We had a reservation on a Monday morning and it was decently busy. We were seated promptly and the staff were friendly. After being seated we waited almost 10 minutes before being greeted so by that time we were ready to order everything. We had 2 entrees and 1 hot coffee. The food came out pretty quickly however the coffee didn’t come out until about 5 minutes after we were served our food. I should’ve looked at the menu more closely because I didn’t realize it was a $9 coffee!! The other items seemed fairly priced, however. We were never offered more water or were checked up on during our meal. Management was seen walking around but paid us no mind either. The busser was quick to clear our plates, and only then did a server who wasn’t ours see we were ready for the bill. We waited about 10 more minutes for the bill and were ready to pay immediately but she was no where to be found. After about another 15 more min of waiting to pay our check we were lucky we had cash and could just leave. Not only was the service poor there was a table next to us with 4 dogs and one barked the entire meal. Overall the food was amazing but the service and atmosphere were poor. But I would go back and give it another shot.

    Overall, the food and drinks were worth the money. The service could have been better. Our wait staff couldn’t explain the differences between the protein options. We had to do our own research. The staff kept talking to us in Spanish which we don’t speak/understand which made it even more difficult to order or ask questions. They never came by to refill our coffees. Also, the bread service is a bit deceptive. They are not free - we would have not had them for $4 a piece. It gets very loud inside the restaurant as well with occasional poppers going off.

    This place is great. Good food and drinks. We went to Coronado location for first time. It was chaos. Even with reservations we waited. Server was sweet but overwhelmed. Food came before drinks. The volume in the restaurant was borderline unbearable. I'm sure it will calm down in time but they could use some more front of the house training for sure.

    Food was good. Service was terrible. Made a reservation for 10 at 2pm. Was sat at 2:45pm and the bar closed at 3pm. Server never told us it was last call and didn't put in everyone's drink order so some were not able to drink at all. Order water for everyone when cocktails were ordered and didn't get them until we were eating cake. Ordered food items that we never received. Server was really nice and apologetic. Food was good so might come back at an earlier time with a much smaller party. Location/views amazing.

    I was hoping to have a different experience based on previous reviews; however that is not the case. I made reservations for 1145; however, was not seated until 1230 after requesting to speak to a manager. Our server changed throughout the course of the meal and the server simply could not keep up. Additionally, there were 2 orders that were either wrong or not brought out. Despite being told it would be taken off the final bill, that did happen for both items. I truly wanted to love this restaurant; however the timeliness of everything will not allow. After paying the bill, I was waiting for the remainder of my cake to be brought out and was asked to leave because my reservation time was up. I was well prepared to leave however did not receive my cake that was brought.
