   As always, food and service were great. It’s extremely noisy for a business meeting.

   Nothing to write home about. Took 30 minutes for a server to take our order (we arrived after the lunch rush). The food was good, but a little over priced. I was expecting a full menu, but they were only serving brunch (on Monday…after 2 pm). If I went back it would be for their full menu as that was the entire reason I wanted to visit in the first place.

   Took the family there for mom‘s birthday brunch. We had been before and enjoyed it enough to go a second time. Started off pretty poorly since they sat us to a table next to a huge group that were being very loud when, the restaurant was only about a third full. Also, given that I identified it as being for a birthday, it would’ve been nice for them to plan to give us somewhat of a nicer table… I don’t necessarily expect special treatment for a birthday, but, many other restaurants I’ve been to will put in that effort which, is a nice gesture.  we had 1- the Niçoise salad ( most expensive item on the menu) which was overall pretty bland although the tuna itself was rather good. 2-  the burger from the kids menu was absolutely terrible. It didn’t have any of the items described in the menu (lettuce, tomato, ketchup) and when we asked for those, they said it was because they ran out and then gave us some leafy greens and cherry tomatoes… Not the same thing! 3- the ex Benedict were absolutely fantastic and 4- the breakfast poutine was OK… The potatoes were slightly undercooked and the overall flavor was slightly lacking. Service was friendly and polite, but, overall, nothing to write home about. I was astounded to watch one of the young staff members trying to clean up a mess after one of the servers dropped (and broke) a dish… he awkwardly tried to sweep the glass and the liquid at the same time which made no sense. Then shuffle around for an in order amount of time with rags under his feet to try and “mop “everything up all of this was happening while two other staff members were directing him… The whole process took over 10 minutes and was very strange to watch. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the foundations are there for a great spot but, it feels like standards have slipped since the last time we were there

   My husband and I very much enjoyed a recent lovely evening at Cocotte! The bistro itself is beautiful and transported us to either Montreal or Paris. The food was wonderfully novel and delicious, and the staff and their service spectacular. Merci!

   The food was good but we didn’t feel what we got was worth the price. We had the Easter brunch. For the price we shouldn’t have had to pay for tea; it should have been included. Where we were seated it was very loud, compared to where the buffet was positioned. Not sure why but we could hardly hear ourselves speak or hear the wait staff speak with us. The service was poor. Someone served us water and then we waited 15 minutes and no one came to us until I flagged someone and then they said they would have to get someone to answer my question. No one checked on us once we received our main food. We were left alone. After we ate we again sat for 15 minutes and I had to find someone to find our waiter before he then came over 5 minutes later to give us our bill. I also felt when you’re charging $70 a person for Easter brunch there should be a dress code of at least no baseball caps and no shorts and tank tops for men. Disappointed on our first visit.

   Food was ok but not as good expected for the price we paid for easter brunch. Service lacked attention.

   We were new to La Cocotte. We were 5 for Easter brunch. Food was good and plentiful, great service, the cost was a bit high, but everything was so good.

    Excellent quality food, hot and fresh; apps served with warm bread with whipped butter. Service was very professional and friendly but it was quite leisurely in delivery. We had tickets to a show and made it out within 2 hours but we skipped appetizers, desert, and coffee. Drinks took forever to come - 25 minutes to be exact, though a busboy offered us water soon after we sat. It was a bit loud by the time we left at 7pm (Saturday)- had to lean in to converse with the table. Of the food, the mussels and salmon were enjoyed, as were the pernod shrimp and french onion soup. Overall its a lovely spot and we'd like to return again.
