Wait staff was great. Appetizers were so so tacos as usual are great. Ambience is excellent.

Did not care for the hard sell on the tequila. Once we declined so did the level of service.

Codigo is amazing from the atmosphere to the food, service, and live band. Tequilla tasting was awesome, food was top notch. We will be back!

Terrific. Different vibe than La Lupita but food is equal to it. Service and food great, go to place for sure.

It’s a great place with amazing food, they need to add a cocktails and spirits menu as you know know the price of any drinks when you are ordering

What a great spot for unique tacos and a really tasty menu. We like Mezcal and tequilas, and it was terrific.

An offshoot of the well known taco restaurant La Lupita (located across the street), the CÓDIGO Tasting House by La Lupita offers those same amazing tacos while offering tastings of some of Código's more esoteric tequilas (we sampled their Rose and Cherry) and serving a wide selection of Código tequila shots, margaritas, etc. The food was...interesting. The tacos were indeed spectacular and we should have limited ourselves to only ordering them. The miso fish was unique and amazing, and the steak, shrimp, mushroom, and all the rest we had were also unbelievably delicious. But the various apps left a lot to be desired...in particular we really didn't like the ceviche. Though the biggest disappointment were the salsas which were actually and surprisingly awful. The drinks side was also...interesting. In order to taste the Código reposado and anejo (unlike the Rose and Cherry they wouldn't give us a small sample) I had to order a flight of three heavy pours - reposado, anejo, and rose. Which turned out to be a good thing because the margaritas we ordered were given a very light pour and so arrived too sweet - both the classic and hibiscus were substantially improved by the 'left over' tequila shots. On the other hand, the service and atmosphere were wonderful. We dined outside on a patio behind the interior of the restaurant where a live band played great music. Would we dine here again? Absolutely...now that we know the idiosyncrasies of the food and drink menus.
