    Great surroundings. Food was good. Service ok but a little slow at times. Menu could be more varied and bigger? Price ok but service charge is unacceptable, I would tip my own amount. Asked to be removed from my bill.

    We had a lovely Sunday roast. I had the beef and my wife pork with all the trimmings. I particularly like the roasted vegetables and cabbage. Starters and sweet were equally enjoyable and the service was excellent. Really enjoyed my time at Cogs, beautiful settings and quality food.

    Unfortunate experience I hope - dining room almost empty on a Saturday afternoon 2 weeks before Christmas, but the almost constant noise of tables & chairs being scraped across the floor - I guess to get set up for groups for the evening - made it very difficult to hear ourselves talk. Despite there being numerous staff on duty we were almost completely ignored, with no top up of drinks or desserts offered. Food was nice but unfortunately not sure that's enough to make a return visit.

    Excellent with great service from staff. They are very engaged and very helpful. The Sunday roast is always of great standard.

    Perfect location, beautiful decorative design inside. Toilet facilities excellent. Food excellent along with quality service of staff. Highly recommend this establishment. We will be returning in December.

    Excellent service. Food was good. Had the mixed grill. Just a shame there wasn't a fried egg with it.
