    Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at The Drake in Oak Brook with an elegant afternoon tea experience full of warmth, cheer, and festive delights. Our cozy winter gathering features a luxurious spread of seasonal teas, delightful treats, and merry décor that captures the spirit of this joyful time of year. Prices: $75/adults $30/children ages 4-10 (Tax and gratuity are not included in the price) - Please note that credit card information provided in Open Table will be used only to hold the reservation and to charge any late cancellations/no show fees, payment is due at restaurant. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the reservation. Late cancellations and no shows are subject to a fee of $25 per person in the reservation.

                                                      Food was great. Pics with Santa and the Grinch was amazing, kids loved it! But it’s was very expensive. I know you’re paying for the experience. But $300 for 2 adults / 2 kids for my 5yo to eat a few eggs … yikes. We’d do it again, but it would *feel* better if the kid’s prices were cheaper, with a paying adult, or something like that.

                                                      We loved the ambience and there were alot of food options. It was buffet style and majority of the food was delicious. We loved getting to take pictures with the Grinch and Santa. Our table was a little wobbly and small which was not ideal but overall we had a good experience!

                                                      I wanted my son to experience a great time meeting Santa Claus and the Grinch. We got there early so before having brunch we wanted to go downstairs and decorate cookies and take a picture with Santa Claus. My son loved the Cookie Decorating. We were told Santa Claus was not ready until 10 so we hung out and decided to decorate some more. When it reached 10am, we were ready to get our pictures taken but the staff was still prepping. You would think the picture would be free since you paid so much for a brunch along with tip. It was just two of us and not a group of 6 which I would understand. Anywho, so we paid $25 for two pictures which were not even professional. I think my son could of taken a better picture with our phone. I decided to keep the picture because of the memory I wanted my son to keep. The food was descent but too overpriced. I just don’t think I would come back and pay that amount.

                                                      A bit disappointed this year. For the same/similar price, the buffet was nowhere near as good this year as in years past. Slim picking for mains as well as sides and a much smaller dessert spread too. Extra charge for photos with Santa to boot!

                                                      I had my Christmas luncheon at the Colonial room today. I have been to the Colonial room in the past and enjoyed the food and the menu. The menu has changed and there aren't good reasonable options like there were before. Food quality wasn't worth the price. Asked for dinner rolls and was charged $10.00 for them. We were charged $2.00 for a lemon wedge in the water. Will not be returning to the Colonial room in the future.

                                                      We had drinks and dessert at the bar and had a wonderful time. The bartender was attentive and friendly. This was a return visit for myself and my “girls”.

                                                      Food was amazing as well as service. Santa line was a little crowded with only one way in and out. Line got a bit contested. Overall, nice time!

                                                      Two people having tea for $191.00 is not worth the experience. Restaurant was short staffed which made for long waits in service, food was dry and stale and it was EXTREMELY loud. Will never do this again, absolutely no value for the dollars spent. We did not have a designated server yet we had to pay a built in 20% tip.
