    Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at The Drake in Oak Brook with an elegant afternoon tea experience full of warmth, cheer, and festive delights. Our cozy winter gathering features a luxurious spread of seasonal teas, delightful treats, and merry décor that captures the spirit of this joyful time of year. Prices: $75/adults $30/children ages 4-10 (Tax and gratuity are not included in the price) - Please note that credit card information provided in Open Table will be used only to hold the reservation and to charge any late cancellations/no show fees, payment is due at restaurant. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the reservation. Late cancellations and no shows are subject to a fee of $25 per person in the reservation.

                                                      The Drake could have done a much better job with the tea time. The tea sandwiches were very basic with stale bread. A little more thought and effort could have gone into food prep and presentation. The entertainment was also disappointing- their costumes were not Disney quality and the performers were not groomed to match their characters. Some music and an activity on the dance floor would have been nice. If this is how the Drake organizes their kids events - I’ll gladly take a longer drive and pay double for the Peninsula or Four Seasons. My party got up and left 40 min into arriving because of how disappointing the event and service was.

                                                      Our third time going to the princess tea. What we loved this time around, they had KID friendly sandwiches!!! Which was amazing! Made the experience more kid friendly! Was disappointed that they didn’t offer crowns this year. Women seating us wasn’t pleasant and seemed annoyed that we asked for our girls to have a crown each, when there were only two littles

                                                      This has become our new Christmas Eve tradition! From the moment we walked in, the festive atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning Christmas decorations that added such a warm, cozy touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service was impeccable as well; our server was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find a place that excels in every area, but the Colonial Room at the Drake in Oakbrook truly does. Whether you're here for a holiday gathering or just a special meal, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

                                                      The buffet selections were just average. The food tasted just OK and the limited selection was very disappointing. To me, the meal was definitely not worth $220 with gratuity. The fact that 20% gratuity was added for a buffet meal is absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back to the Drake at Oak Brook for another meal.

                                                      The overall experience was very good. It was a busy time and the wait staff did their best to keep up. Food was very good. The decorations were festive and elegant.
