    Celebrate the magic of the holiday season at The Drake in Oak Brook with an elegant afternoon tea experience full of warmth, cheer, and festive delights. Our cozy winter gathering features a luxurious spread of seasonal teas, delightful treats, and merry décor that captures the spirit of this joyful time of year. Prices: $75/adults $30/children ages 4-10 (Tax and gratuity are not included in the price) - Please note that credit card information provided in Open Table will be used only to hold the reservation and to charge any late cancellations/no show fees, payment is due at restaurant. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the reservation. Late cancellations and no shows are subject to a fee of $25 per person in the reservation.

                                                      I have gone to the drake dt Chicago many times for holiday tea and it is exceptional. This location was a big let down. The service was terrible,they were not attentive to our table at all. We were the first to sit down in the room and the last to get our food. It was as they had forgot about our table. They never checked back to ask if we needed anything additional. We had to chase down someone to get our check. Not sure if they are understaffed, but to stick on a service charge on top of the required 20% tip was ridiculous for the horrible service we received.

                                                      We were hoping we could get close to the Drake downtown tea experience but this totally missed the mark while still carrying an outrageous price tag. The sandwiches were dried out, the sweets not super flavorful, cheap paper wrappings on the petit fours and the environment while cozy is not fetching the price tag. I could not say anything bad about the service and they were all warm and helpful. It was a bit of a let down but our little still loved it.

                                                      They automatically added a 20 percent tip (party of three) and the service was mediocre. The servers had no incentive to provide good service. I expect excellent service for a $45 tip.

                                                      Way too expensive! The food was good but you get more food for less money when you go elsewhere. If it hadn't been for the hefty price tag, I would have rated it higher.

                                                      We attended the holiday tea which was nicely set up, decorated nicely. However, for the money paid we had to ask for our food and tea, they forgot about us. When our reservations got made we also mentioned our allergies and they forgot about them and they could not answer if a couple food items had the food related to the allergy in it - they forgot about our food allergy for our table. We have attended a holiday tea here previously and it was great - this year not so much.

                                                      Our server Gustavo was fantastic - very attentive, polite. The food was outstanding. Everything was delicious and the variety was amazing. The music was a lovely addition and so very festive. Will definitely be back real soon. We and our out of town guests had a fabulous, memorable afternoon.
