   We really enjoy Colts Neck Inn. Food, Drinks & Service (Jamie) & staff are friendly & extremely accommodating. My husband loves the steak. The best for value.

   Filet was delicious. Potatoes came out cold x2. Forgot my vegetable with the main course. Deserts were dry . Very expensive for the quality

   The food was very good, especially the sushi roll. The rest was adequate, at best. The service was decent, but we had the impression that they wanted us to eat quickly and leave so they could turn the table over. The noise level was extreme, could not hear the other person at the table and the wait staff was very hard to understand. They may have improved the food, but the facility needs substantial improvement. I will not be going back.

   The food was DELICIOUS! What made the experience less than desirable was the noise level. We found ourselves raising our voices and straining to hear each other. Really very uncomfortable. I would consider returning for possibly lunch or an evening that was less busy which might help the noise level. Service was fine and we were seated at the exact time of our reservation which was a positive. If the noise was not such an issue I would consider giving this a 4-5 star rating all around. Prices were competitive, not unreasonable.

   We had a delicious dinner last night, the service was impeccable and the ambiance was awesome. Our server, Brian, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had the oysters which were very tasty although the toppings (minuette and cocktail sauces) were not what we expected that we’ve had in the past. I had the filet mignon which was melt in your mouth and my husband had the ribeye which was flavorful. We both got the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus both of which were delicious. We split the fall harvest salad which was a little too sweet for me but my husband really enjoyed. Our drinks were made with love as well. We will definitely be back to this place next time we are in the area.

    Onion soup was fair, we ordered Caesar salad w/ shrimp. The shrimp smelled fishy and did not taste right. Don't think we'll be back......
