An excellent new option in the area with laid back euro vibe, yummy tapas plates (we had the zucchini marrow special, broad beans, kangaroo croquettes to share and I had a lamb skewer and my friend had an oyster. All delicious), an inventive cocktail offering and warm and knowledgeable service. Highly recommended!

Lovely setting, good wine/food - serviced poorly - hard to get attention of staff, weren’t offered coffee/dessert…customers in front of restaurant given priority….eventually just left it.

Unbelievably comfortable, charming, delicious, and fun. The cocktails were exciting and delicious. Great service from staff who looked like they were having fun. We’ll definitely be back as soon as possible

Impeccable service and beautiful shared plates of food, with a carefully crafted wine and cocktail list. There is a really lovely ambience, reminiscent of a European bar. Will definitely go back.

The unassuming façade opens to a world filled with warm laughter, the smell of delectable food, and to a world-class bar. Watching the bartender work their magic is a sight not to be missed. Astonishing art from famous and emerging adorn the walls. The cosy bar has a small space for an intimate dinner group, an outdoor area and an upper platform where one can mingle with the DJ. But the pick is the right hand corner; where one can watch people come and go, or revel in the impressive bar up the front. Make sure to get in early to secure the best seats of the house.

Beautiful space, engaging, warm and knowledgeable staff. The food was perfect and delicious. Great origin stories and use of unique and local produce. Highly recommend. Thank you Commis 😊

Commis was wonderful, we attended the Winter Solstice Lunch. The menu was imaginative including shared plates of venison terrine, gnocchi with ragu, roast cockerel, apple bread and butter pudding with lots of farm fresh vegetables and leaves, also included was house made bread, butter and pickles. The cost included a glass of wine, at $70 our meal was more than generous. Special mention to the fascinating cocktails and attentive service. We are looking out for the next special event but will be calling in for a meal and a drink on a regular night because we were so impressed. Thanks Commis for a lovely long lunch.
