One of our party had the scallops and said that they were very good, but why can’t restaurants add a bit more relatively inexpensive vegetables or starch to the 3 tasty scallops which are about $10 each?? The second meal was a kale Caesar Salad with salmon on it. The salmon was also very good and a generous amount, but it was hard to find the kale in the salad which was mostly romaine lettuce. Good, but not as promised. Since we live in the neighborhood, we will likely keep returning.

Great food, great drinks, great service! Our server Ethan was awesome! He made wonderful recommendations and his vibe really added to our night! We will definitely be back

The service was excellent and we were seated promptly. The seats are just hard wooden benches so not super comfortable. The food was just ok. I was expecting more.

My scallops were great, my husband‘s pasta they switched the type of pasta and he didn’t care for it and it was much too spicy much more than they had told him the bread before hand was not sourdough and it was not fresh. They wanted us to keep our utensils which I thought was a bit weird for such a nice place. Our server was delightful though Will probably take a break before we go back.

Commoner is my neighborhood restaurant. It is a great place to meet friends and catch up. I recently had the beet salad and loved the taste and presentation. The mint and blackberries on the side made the dish superb. The burger was cooked just as I requested and it was juicy and delicious.

Commoner & Co. is one of our favorite spots! We come here often for their excellent cocktails and tasty dinner options! This time we had the meatloaf dinner, which was fantastic and the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. So delish! Our servers are always wonderfully attentive! 10/10 Can’t wait for our next visit!

The Commoner is back! I have been going here since it opened and it’s been through a rough patch, but I’m glad to see the restaurant was busy, great food and a lively atmosphere my daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful meal in the bar great service. Really enjoyed the Caesar salad with chicken. would love another salad option on the menu.

Came here for a special occasion and, unfortunately, the best I can give it is ok. I ordered the salmon medium well. Unfortunately, it ended up be served medium rare. I brought it home and will just cook it through myself. Not sure if the server put it in wrong or the kitchen doesn't know the difference between medium rare and medium well! Others at the table said their food was good, but no one seemed to be raving about it as they often do when we dine out. At first I thought the prices seemed reasonable, but when the plates came out, I realized they are about half the portion size of many other places. So, unfortunately, it ultimately seemed overpriced for what you got. When the food was ready, the server brought the first 3 plates out and then it was at least 7-10 minutes before the other people at the table were served their dinners, so the first people to be served ended up with cold food. The server never came back to ask how everything was and we had to ask him to refill the water carafes and to bring the check. It's a beautiful restaurant; it just didn't live up to what I was hoping it would be! If future reviews tell me different, I'd go back and give it another try.
