   So many bugs - dead and alive. There were so many fruit flies, it felt gross. When I gave my server a plate with a dead fruit fly, she said it’s because of the live plants and she just took the plate. Lots of service staff, but they aren’t too attentive of guests. Chicken andouille was yummy.

   We absolutely adore the 13th floor bar. However, unfortunately, we had reserved a table on the first floor. To our dismay, we were seated next to a group of college students who were eating canes chicken. Needless to say, the ambiance took a turn for the worse after that. To make matters worse, when we asked for dessert, the waiter informed us that the kitchen was closed at 10:00 p.m.

   I had to return my meal. I got the jerk chicken and it was bloody. Not rare, but truly bloody. They took it off my bill, but it disgusted our entire group. I would not go back.

   Great little spot for a romantic night or a group. Noise level is high due to the live music however but as long as you know that going in it's great. Food was amazing and the staff was attentive.

   I'm fussing about service and eticatcy. For most this would have been totally ok. But when in an eating establishment as this I don't expect one's plate to be removed before the other person has finished eating. Took away a star. Another star taken as it was freezing in the restaurant area. I had goosebumps pretty much the whole time! Food was delicious and nicely presented. I had the half teriyaki, partner the duck breast. Both very flavorful. Oh and the brussel sprouts with yogurt as an appetizer. Tasty. Drinks were standard.

   The food was delicious. Highly recommend it as a place to brunch. The service was great.

   Our group thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the Commons Club on "Fat Friday" (the Friday before Mardi Gras). The ambiance, the food, the service, everything is a total vibe. I will definitely be back.
