    This was my first time visiting and I must say, I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I did a progressive dinner night, with Compère Lapin being our entree location. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being over bearing. Our entrees consisted of the Red snapper and the fried chicken; both were delicious. I was especially pleased with the jerk butter over the fried chicken.

    Good Caribbean fare, had the pig ear, curried goat along with the pasta w/clams and shrimp which were all good. Service was great. Good cocktails

    I was looking forward to finally eating here. It was at 7 on a slow,week night. The service was the worst I've had in a while. The most attentive of the wait staff was the guy refilling our water. It was about 20 minutes before the waiter came for our drink order, and that was after I requested him. The food was slow to come out, but they were quick trying to clear our plates. The food was okay, but not worth the wait. We were so disappointed.

    We had the tasting menu, and everything was delicious. Our waiter and the rest of the wait was was very friendly, professional and very attentive, but never overbearing. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about our dishes and drinks and was clearly very passionate about his work. This was a great meal, experience and value.

    We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was amazing as was all the wait staff. Everything was so delicious and everyone was so genuinely friendly, we will plan to come back for sure!

    Delicious meal. Fried Chicken and Pigs Ears. Livia was a wonderful server. Very attentive and efficient. Cory picked a great and perfectly matched wine to compliment our food.

    The best meal we ever had in the US. A wonderful combination of flavours: all fresh ingredients and well balanced spices. Lovely wines. We had a Californian orange wine that paired with each and every dish. Staff was perfect, friendly, there when appropriate and genuinely happy to see out enjoyment of the food. Don’t miss Compère Lapin when staying in New Orleans!

    Was excited to try one of Nina Compton’s places on our trip to New Orleans and it did not disappoint! The hush puppies were a great start and had a nice but not too over powering kick to it. My husband can’t stop talking about the pork belly and the goat curry gnocchi lived up to its reputation as one of the signature dishes! The Italian Stew was also a great vegan option and was packed with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and staff were excellent and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend as a stop on your trip to New Orleans!
