Compton Ave is a beautiful bar anytime but decorated for Christmas it was so incredible. The drinks are excellent. The Christmas Negroni was delicious. We ordered basically all of the food on the menu and nothing disappointed. The Fish and Chips all in one finger ... so unique. Now on to Frankie's other Christmas pop-up Nordic.

As always this amazing spot in the west end has that festive homey feel. Drinks were incredible and the staff are always super nice. I always love coming here during the festive season or just during the regular time!

We were a bit table of 7 and reserved in advance. Loved the interiors and the Christmas decor. Reminded me of my favorite bar in UK. We got the corner big dark red leather couch and it was perfect. Just quite noisy to have a conversation. My cocktail was recommended by the server and it was really good but didn’t love all the cocktails ordered on the table. Will definitely go again.

This is the perfect place to go to right now to get into the Christmas spirit. The bar is beautifully decorated with amazing jazz Christmas tunes in the background. How can you not get into the spirit of Christmas? We just stayed for cocktails and they were all delicious. Did not have any food. Hence the three star rating it just really wasn’t applicable. But I’m sure I’ll be back again to enjoy and look forward to it.

It was Martini hour so we tried the first two on the menu and they were amazing! great flavours and balance. The Croquettes were our favourite food, alongside the smoked olives and steak.

I was disappointed because I had really high hopes for this bar. The music was so loud I could barely hear my friend, and it was difficult to talk. The service was incredibly slow and we waited 20 minutes without being asked if we wanted another drink. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender instead was fussing with glasses. Will not return.

Unfortunately did not live up to the hype and to my experience at their other cocktail bars. There was little to no presentation/flair w the cocktails given the cost. We were also put at a table at the back of the bar that had a direct view into the kitchen. There’s was a curtain that if was put down would of hidden it so that it wouldn’t be an eye sore to patrons but the staff kept it pulled back for ease of them going in/out. Unfortunately this really ruined the ambience w seeing the bright fluorescent lights of the kitchen in an otherwise darkened bar. Doesn’t see a great mood sipping a $30 drink while staring at a commercial oven and kitchen supplies.
