We were kept waiting for 15-20 mins before the order was taken and then were told that our first choice of turkey was not available. There was a long delay before the food came which when it arrived was good, fish and chips. However no apology was give. No one asked if we wanted desserts or coffee and we ended up ordering coffee at the bar. 10% was deducted on the bill, it was a shame because the place is nice.

Lovely Christmas lunch at The Cookhouse - comfortable ambiance and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyable and we’ll be back for more soon!

Fabulous food and caters for allergies without making the customer feel uncomfortable. Lovely atmosphere and good service.

Second time visiting here and it was even better than the first! New menu, lots more options, we opted for the 3 course meal which there was a deal on. I have to say the food was superb and the lady who was waiting our table was super warm, welcoming and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed, we will be spreading the word of how good our visit was. Well done!

A warm welcome to great service and amazing food if you have never been to the cook house then it's a must do to add to your list. A beautiful and relaxing place to eat or meet up for drinks with friends it's an excellent choice.

Lovely staff which make it so pleasant! Great value bfast & lunch . Not tried dinner yet. But a local gem :):) Spotless facilities.
