                                                                                          We enjoy going to cooper hawks, the food is good, we almost always get cherry as our serving and she’s great. Last night they were out of the shrimp scampi which is my favorite dish so that was a little disappointing.

                                                                                          I like this restaurant; however, do not visit during a busy day, such as New Year's Eve. They either have more tables than they can handle and/or their staff can not handle that many customers at once, and you spend a lot of time either waiting for service or food.

                                                                                          Our server, Melina, was friendly and attentive. She brought us samples of wine before dinner and a chocolate noir wine after dinner. The wines and food were all delicious. We had a lovely time and will definitely return.

                                                                                          We had reservations in the bar area. We sat in a booth which was perfect. Wait staff was very attentive and responsive. We had the dinner specials, surf and turf and the ravioli. Both were excellent.

                                                                                          Probably one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had in a really long time. The server was fine. Nothing horribly off to report there. The food, however, was not palatable. The drunken shrimp appetizer was actually decent, and the most edible thing we were served. The shrimp and scallop risotto was not good. Flavors were off, and there were “interesting” inclusions like peas and corn. The steak churrasco was awful. The steak was tough and stringy. Flavor was not good and the fries were soggy. The vegetables were overcooked and over sauced. I didn’t finish the meal and had no desire to take it home either. The salted caramel crème brûlée was pudding. No carmelized sugar, and it was covered with powdered sugar to disguise that. This place seemed like a way to sell their wine club, but even the sangria was lackluster. The bill was $150 for two entrees, one drink, a shared appetizer and shared dessert, and none of it was good. I wondered why we had such an easy time getting a late reservation on Open Table. Now I know. We will not be back.

                                                                                          Enjoyed dinner last night with a couple eating at Cooper’s Hawk for the first time. They were very impressed and declared it the best meal with the best service of restaurants where they have eaten in Arizona. Shrimp, crab, lobster bisque and spare rib risotto and mushroom flatbread were instant favorites. Red wine flight was very well received as was the Reese’s ice cream cookie dessert.

                                                                                          Made reservations for 12:30pm. Waited over 25 mins to get seated at our table which was empty the entire time, because of the horrible hostess seating procedure. It was very disappointing. A few others also complained what the problem was with the seating. Would not recommend and canceled our future reservations.
