Cortona's Italian Cuisine & Wine Bars' name sake, Cortona Italy, is a small town tucked into the hills of Tuscany. Simone Lucarini, co-owner and Chef, was born and raised in this Etruscan era town and came to live in the United States in 2015 were he met his partner and wife, Elizabeth Lucarini. He brings to the restaurant; his cooking experience, working as a cook helping open several restaurants around the world, including France, West Bank, and upper New York State to name a few. He earned his sommelier certification at A.I.S. Associazione Italiana Sommeliers. What he truely bring to Cortona's is the Italian experience; eat, drink, laugh... repeat. We always love going to Cortona’s. In fact we drive 45 minutes just to get there because it’s always predictably superb. Tonight’s dinner was one of the best!! The bruschetta was great as always but the grouper special was fantastic! The fish was cooked perfectly and the accoutrements added the finishing touch. The evening was complimented with the usual outstanding service including a visit at each table by the owners! We’ll be back!!

Another fabulous experience at Cortonas’s. We love to come here for the truly authentic food and experience. The pork chop was fantastic and the owner suggested I pair it with a Syrah made in Cortona. The service was great. This place has become our go to for great Italian food, service and wine selections.

Over eager waiter clearing plates, grabbing glasses. When I spend this much money I don’t want it to be a half hour experience. The cheese wheel pasta was fun!

I came early and it was starting to turn lively. It was such a fun experience! The chicken parm was so delicious and nothing like you’re going to experience anywhere else. I loved the contrast of the cool buratta over the piping hot chicken. Buratta maybe my new favorite food. Service was excellent I got to talk to the owners. One of the fun aspects of a small business I guess. I’ll definitely be back!!

From the moment we walked in, Cortona’s felt like a celebration! The ambiance was simply magical, with soft lighting and the gentle hum of happy chatter. The food was nothing short of divine; the Grouper with Farro was a masterpiece of flavor, and the Chicken Parmigian was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh ingredients. Our server, Renata was attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience truly seamless. We will absolutely be back. Love Simone and Beth !

Food was lukewarm - my husband order a cheese wheel pasta and it came cold. Truffles were not aromatic at all. My friend ordered a chicken Parmesan topped with a burrata. The burrata was cold, as if had been just out of the fridge. My scaloppini was too thick for a scallopini and it came lukewarm. Desert and wine were very good.

We went to celebrate our grandson’s girlfriends birthday. Nice place cheese wheel was a great experience. They encourage you to stand up and watch. Would be nice if they offered a red sauce for the cheese pasta. The service was good and they brought out a dessert with candle for Allison. There was also a placard on the table with Happy Birthday on it. Overall I would highly recommend.

Brought my wife here for her birthday. It was our first time. Picture this: 70° as the sun starts to set, the waitress brings out an appetizer of meatballs with a mountain of Parmesan (because their is no limit at this place) and you’re sitting on the patio of main street Fortville, with a glass of wine that was imported straight from Italy. Some people say exceptional.. I say perfect. Our waitress, Kat felt like family by the time she brought the check. The owner lives and breathes Italian vineyards. The pork chop was a dream. And the complimentary dessert was the definition of a piece of heaven. Overall, 10 out of 10. We will be back!
