   Well presented, delicious meals - sea trout and chicken. Lovely desert. The young lady serving could have been more attentive and knowledgable. Very good overall

   We attended a monthly special night which this time had a SEAFOOD TASTER selection on the menu. All the dishes were very well presented. Their was a great variety of dishes with a good mixture of textures and flavours. Difficult to say which one I liked the best but a good contender was the COD which was well seasoned and definitely the best I have ever tasted!! I am looking forward to returning to see what they have on the menu next time. One thing I am sure of is that I will not be disappointed!!!

   OMG. Another month and another tasting menu for the supper club. And this one was surely going to be my favourite- under the sea! The food was a mix of fish and seafood dishes and tasted absolutely delicious. The presentation of each dish looked amazing. This time, I don’t think I could pick a favourite course as they all tasted so good. My wife was very impressed with the slight changes made to the dishes to make them Gluten Free for her - this is always appreciated. She also had the accompanying wine pairing. She doesn’t normally drink white or rose wine but really enjoyed the wines paired with each course - very tasty and went perfect with the food. Another really enjoyable food experience at the Cove Restaurant. Please pass on our thanks to the chefs who made this delicious food. And a huge thank you to the lovely waiting staff who make it a pleasure to dine here. See you next month!

   Fantastic lunch, great quality and thoughtfully presented. The staff were very accommodating, with special thanks to Rachel. We had a lovely afternoon and will highly recommend!

   Plans changed for the day. Decided we couldn’t be bothered cooking so went for a walk and booked last minute Sunday lunch at this lovely restaurant. Was delighted to see that the Prawn Cocktail was on the menu and had that for my starter. A good sized serving which tasted as a Prawn Cocktail should. This was followed by the delicious Roast Beef with all the trimmings, including a home-made Yorkshire Pudding. Another decent sized portion. My wife finished off with the Afagato which she absolutely loved. Great to be back at my favourite Black Isle restaurant.

   10/10 meal, 10/10 service. It’s my 3rd time back and each time it’s phenomenal!! The staff are all so kind and the food AMAZING! We had a Sunday roast and the beef was so tender and the veg was delicious!!! The view of the golf course and water is stunning! I’ll be back again!

   Couldn’t be bothered cooking so a wee impromptu trip to Cove. Too early for the Al a carte but delighted to see prawn cocktail on the menu as that is always my favourite. Next was the mussels which were delicious. It was lovely to visit in daylight as we usually visit when it’s dark. A lovely spot to drink and eat while watching the boats, planes and golfers. Thanks

   Chicken tough, Yorkshire pudding very overdone and almost black. Vegetables good, although could have been hotter. Very slow service. Dessert minuscule for its price., although enjoyable. Meal very overpriced and certainly poor value.

    Food was beautifully presented and both the beef and chicken eaten at our table was very tender. However, we would have preferred the proportion of vegetables to protein better balanced, but this does seem to be the ‘culinary’ fashion at the moment. The welcome received and service were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at The Cove .
