Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

We invite you to join us on the lawn in front of Credence on May 3rd for our inaugural Hats & Horses celebration. We’ll broadcast the Derby while you enjoy a curated menu of Southern classics from Credence, including fried chicken & biscuits, deviled eggs, and more, alongside an ice-cold raw bar and signature cocktails by Woodford Reserve and Herradura. Live music and prizes for best dressed, best hat and more will be included in the festivities, with a portion of the proceeds going to Southern Smoke Foundation. Tickets include bites from Credence along with two signature cocktails. A limited number of VIP bungalows will allow access to a private viewing and exclusive dining experience. Upgrade to a VIP experience with premium seating and enhanced culinary offerings, including a private raw bar, caviar, and our Wagyu Hofbrau for an additional $125 per ticket. This is where we chose to have our Easter brunch. Food was served and no mimosas, which should have come out first. When asked about them, no apology from the assistant OR THE MANAGER who said, “I’ll keep an eye on it.” WOW! The waiter finally did bring them out with a little apology. When the bill came, surprisingly there were the charges, including the shared dessert. At least comp the dessert. Really?! The food is fine, but it’s not off the charts. I can be treated better elsewhere.

WOW. Our first time at Credence, and it was truly unforgettable!** From the warm welcome by three lovely hostesses to the exceptional service from our waiter Todd (and his amazing team Armando & Adam), everything was top-notch. We celebrated my husband’s birthday, and Todd kicked it off with a birthday card and a wonderful intro to the menu. The food? *Outstanding.* The wood-roasted flavors were unique and elevated our entire dining experience. And don’t even get me started on the Monkey Bread—garlic, herb butter perfection! Despite a full restaurant, we felt like the only guests there. **Service like this is rare.** Highly recommend for anyone wanting a truly special and memorable meal in Houston!

Oysters were awesome. Main entrees were disappointing. Shrimp tasted like chemicals but they removed it from our bill without hesitation so I appreciated that. Would go again for apps/drinks

How can in today’s time you not have more vegetarian options and also no vegetarian bread! Bread and butter are staples and yours has beef tallow! And you have no chili pepper flakes. We live in Texas and we love spicy food so please please offer more veggie options

My wife and I decided to go to Credence to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We were met with a very pleasant hostess who made us feel welcome and directed us to a very nice table. This was our first visit, and our server was very attentive and made several recommendations. We ordered the Deviled Crabs, Snapper, Ribeye and the Heirloom Blue Crab Rice. All were excellent! Our server surprised us at the end of the meal with a nice anniversary gift, bowl of ice cream with chocolate and caramel. It was yummy! We will definitely go back!

Loved this restaurant! The blue crab rice is 10/10 and my steak was great. Service was amazing as well! No complaints.
