   My girlfriend and I took a day trip to Sedona and thought this place would be a really nice visit. It was WAY fancier than I anticipated. Super interesting experience because WOW. We had people come up and explain our dishes to us, peek over at us every other minute to see if we needed refills, and hand us complimentary dishes. They served us a complimentary fried cheese ball that was honestly pretty cold and tasted exactly like a cheezit. I think the service sort of made up for the cheezit thing because these servers were on top of it and our entrees were really good. Strangest people we've ever met though. The staff acts robotic, and when you try to have a conversation with them they look like they're trying to reboot and learn how to be human again. Idk if this is just rich life but it was the funniest thing I've ever experienced. We could not stop laughing about how bizarre it was. If that's your type of thing, head on over! For people like us, I think every middle-class traveler would get such a kick out of this place. Never experienced anything like it.

   The food is good but the service is outstanding. Beautiful contemporary dining room which is very comfortable. It was a dark gloomy night so we could not see the outdoor view which must be nice during the daytime. I was initially put off by the $17 valet parking but the cost of the meal was very reasonable which surprised me.

   We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had the tasting menu with accompanying wines with each course. The food was absolutely amazing, portions appropriate and the wine pairings were perfect - and seriously good wines, too. Service was excellent, if less than confident in talking about the wines. Still, can’t recommend Cress enough. We’ll definitely be back.

   A few really good dishes, a few dishes that were poor - we didn't eat them. Extremely slow service for us at least . Some Staff didn't seem overly interested in delivering the experience one would expect for the price - particularly after we mentioned 2 pasta dishes were awful. Yes they comped those dishes but more about their reaction - really didn't seem to care.

   excellent service from our talented and kind waitress , Carol. Food was amazing - will be back !!! one of the best dining experiences I have had in sedona in a long time :)

   The food and the service from our server were excellent but the start of the experience not so much. We arrived at 5:55 for a 6PM reservation and we were told that we needed to wait several minutes. Why - we have no reason. There were plenty of empty tables and servers. Nevertheless we had to stand and wait for the hostess to decide to let us go to our table. Infuriating. Set the tone for the next 30 minutes. We have eaten all over the world and have never had this happen before. Stupid rule.

    Very pretty. The service was INCREDIBLY slow. We did not complain at all & the waitress noticed how slow it was going & volunteered to pay for our alcohol which was very nice. My carbonara had absolutely zero flavor. It tasted like nothing. I ate about 4 bits. Very very disappointing.
