Crispin at Studio Voltaire is a 50-cover modern European restaurant and counter bar located in leading gallery and arts organisation Studio Voltaire.

The kitchen, lead by Michael Miles, delivers classic and seasonal menus showcasing the best produce of the British Isles from small-scale and independent producers. Expect modern takes on European and British classics, fresh pastas, charcoal-grilled meat and fish, seasonal vegetables, and comforting desserts.

Alongside an array of sustainable tap wines each season’s wine list will bring a focus to 4 different winemakers, celebrating their individual stories. The wine programme will also include wine tastings and winemaker dinners.

Located a few minutes from Clapham Common station this multi-use venue has event capacity up to 400 people standing or up to 200 people seated, plus a garden terrace.

Crispin Events offers catering services for seated dining, weddings receptions and dinners, working lunches and canapé and drinks parties.

Really nice intimate and romantic setting. Very friendly staff and beautiful fresh ingredients. Great cocktail and wine list. My only negative feedback was when we arrived for our table at 4.45pm the tables weren’t set and the staff were having a briefing in the restaurant near where we were eating. There was also a reception desk phone that kept going off which killed the vibes a little. Other than that loved it

Not sure what to make of this place. Thought the food was very good but I think it would be better with starter then main per person, not the whole sharing thing as i am not sure it js the right food for it. We were told to share where some dishes were too small but the cooking of the food was very good. Ambience of the restaurant is fine but we sat at the bar, you have to have stools with backs to them i feel as it was very uncomfortable. Needs a bit warmer decoration inside I would suggest.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. The service was excellent, the staff timed everything perfectly and we never felt rushed or interrupted. The food was fantastic, and we enjoyed looking at some art after our meal. We really enjoyed our time here!

Superb food, experience and value. We sat at the counter for a tasting menu and had several glasses of wine from the taps. Extremely good across every course - including the Guinness soda bread and butter!

An absolute culinary pleasure! The food alone is worth the visit, but what truly elevates the experience is the wonderful, caring, attentive, and fun team that makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is beautifully designed, creating the perfect setting.
