Probably the best higher-end Mexican-inspired restaurant in the Cincinnati area. Everything is delicious here and the focus on details and flavors is evident.

The service was very good. We were seated shortly after arriving. We tried the traditional margaritas- which were good. Our kids tried the queso’s fundido, which they thoroughly enjoyed. For brunch / lunch we got tacos (Baja fish and lamb and seuadero - all good! Two tacos were perfect for us); Breakfast Burrito (it is big. Our son loved it! I was contemplating getting it and glad I didn’t since it would have been too much food for me.); and the chilaquiles verde (also big - and our son loved it!). Nice light atmosphere. Don’t sit near the door during the winter months - the breeze coming in the door is strong and people don’t close the door all the way. Luckily we weren’t too close - even though my husband did get up and close the door a few times. Good food. All served hot. Good service.

Service was great. The carne asada is a choice cut from Kroger or Sysco. It’s bland and one of the worst steaks I have ever had. The guacamole is delicious. Overall, completely underwhelmed.

Super disappointed in our visit this time around. I made reservations weeks in advance. The host sat us at the bar - near the door - and on the corner (not even next to each other). There were 6 available bar seats further away from the door. We asked if we could move and he said no - that those seats were for other reservations. It was freezing cold - the door was not always being shut as guests entered or exited. Guests would mingle behind us and talked loudly as they waited for their tables. We felt cramped and cold. The host ended up seating other guests of 2 in the better seats within 15-20 minutes of our reservation time so it wasn’t like those seats were being saved for a larger group. No one checked on how our meal was nor asked if we wanted more drinks. So we left within an hour because it was not an enjoyable experience.

We had a great experience at Crown Cantina. The restaurant decor is very nice. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional! The waiter explained any questions we had about our food selections. Very enjoyable experience! We will be back.

Everything here is consistently good, and a must try for locals. Great service, casual & chic ambiance, delicious food, and attractive staff. Highly recommend the Carne Asada large plate. Make sure to always sample their featured desserts.
