Went in for the wine tasting and had the amazing fortune of getting Richard as my server. Simply put he is TOTALLY AMAZING!!!!!!!! His knowledge of wine, pairings with menu items, matching acid, savory & sweet all came together to make this visit one of the best I've experienced in the many years I've been a customer of Cru.

The service could not have been better. The recommendations were spot on. The food was prepared perfectly. We were not hurried; it was an easy atmosphere to be in.

Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered the salmon. It was perfectly cooked. Love this place. It's consistently good with Terrific service. Take a sweater or jacket with you - they keep the AC cranked up high!

Our visit was during “restaurant week”, a mistake. My salad was billed as “heirloom tomatoes and Burrata” but was cherry tomatoes and dabs of cheese so small they could have been anything. The scallops and risotto were quite tasty but chocolate dessert grainy. Points for our Very accommodating waiter. Food has never been a disappointment here in the past. I blame it on “restaurant week” traffic and guidelines.

The scallops and risotto were excellent! I took my wife out for her birthday and she loved it. It was pretty loud, but that may have been due to a large and gregarious table close to us. Overall, two thumbs up!

Overall, we had a great time at Cru. We each ordered different wines and shared a variety of appetizers before we went to the theater. All the wines were great and the appetizers were also quite good. We'll be back. Would be nice to be able to sit outside when it's not so hot.

We dined on the patio for Restaurant Week early on a Saturday. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, which made up for some shortcomings in the food. Potstickers with lobster and crab were tasty, but they could have been filled with anything because the sauce was overpowering. The burrata and heirloom tomato salad was enjoyable, though I’m pretty sure the heirloom tomatoes were grocery store cherry tomatoes. Scallops and risotto were aggressively salted. The steak was delicious though cooked past my desired medium rare. Of the desserts, the crème brûlée was more memorable than the molten chocolate cake that wasn’t very molten. This sounds like I am complaining terribly about my meal. The food was good, and we were not sad that we stopped in. The wine pairings were perfect. The staff was very gracious and topped off our wine glasses when we had a delay from the kitchen and when we mentioned the saltiness of the scallops. Overall, I would go back when it isn’t restaurant week because I would enjoy having some wine and appetizers under the guidance of the delightful servers.

My husband and I and another couple decided to try Restaurant Preview weekend here. It was a Sunday night so not super busy which was nice. Three of us chose the entrees on the Restaurant Week menu. I had the burrata salad for an app with the scallops for the main dish. Both were very good. Our server was Sean, and he was attentive and helpful. There was a nice break between courses, giving us time to visit. We were not hurried. We also enjoyed wine flights of our choosing.
