Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, CUT by Wolfgang Puck presents a fine-dining experience featuring the finest selections of beef, complemented by fresh, locally inspired dishes that embody the vibrant spirit of Washington, D.C.


The restaurant boasts two iconic bars: one at the entrance, providing a stylish and inviting setting for pre-dinner drinks, and a second atop the hotel, offering breathtaking city views alongside a menu of bespoke cocktails, curated wines, and craft beers. For private gatherings, our exclusive 14-seat dining room provides an intimate space for celebrations, meetings, or special occasions.


To ensure an exceptional experience for all guests, we request 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Late changes may result in a $25pp fee. Guests can bring their own wines (not featured on our extensive list), with a corkage fee of $45 per bottle or $90 per magnum, limit 2 per table.

    Was here for brunch and won’t go back. Disappointed in this brunch experience. Service was disorganized and not good communication between the staff. Very slow sequence of service. I had the Benedict which by the time I got it the food was cold. The sausage was hard and not enjoyable. Eggs were almost poached to a boil. The burger seemed like the highlight while the pancakes were fine but. Nothing special. The best part of the whole experience was the bread basket with homemade jams and tea service. Other than that the food was not remarkable. At this price point you expect a certain level of refinement and that was sorely lacking from this experience. Allegedly it’s a Wolfgang Puck restaurant but I’m would tell you to skip this and try another place in town. Much better choices available in DC

    We had a nice dinner for Valentine's Day, but the food took VERY long to arrive to the table. Additionally, other couples received a rose and chocolates but we did not. Upon exiting the restaurant, none of the 4 staff including the manager standing there acknowledged us, and we said thank you to them. About 10 seconds later, we returned to request the rose and chocolates, and the manager asked if we had eaten at the restaurant, after literally walking past them 10 seconds prior. Nobody showed initiative, gratitude or the type of service I expect after spending over $800 on a dinner for two people. CUT in Beverly Hills is phenomenal, but the experience we had here was much less than that. CUT needs to do much better in terms of service.

    Everything from the cocktails, the wine, to the appetizers, the main course, and the desserts was amazing. I'm typically not impressed by many restaurants because my husband is an excellent cook from Europe, but this restaurant hit it out of the park. The eggplant appetizer was the best eggplant that I have EVER had hands down. The service was superb. We will definitely return to CUT.

    First experience first date-excellent cuisine, lighting a little too low. Noise level a bit high-but overall I can see why CUT received a Michelin star in 2021. Won’t be the last time I go!

    This restaurant was wonderful for a night out. We celebrated a good friend's birthday. The service is excellent. You feel welcome there and the servers are attentive. We went for restaurant week and I have to say, the appetizers and the desserts were amazing. The entree was just okay. It wasn't bad, but was just a bit underwhelming given the price tag and the level of the restaurant itself. My friends had the same experience, and all of us had different entrees.

    The food was delicious, but I’d love to try Cut outside of restaurant week. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated their service. After we finished our salads, I noticed we hadn’t gotten our pretzel bread (which was yummy). But no worries, they quickly fixed it and when there seemed to be a bit of a delay later, a manager came over to make sure everything was okay. I say that to say, they were really busy, but whenever there was a problem, someone in a suit or another server would step in to help. I stuck to the pre-fix menu. The Endive Caesar’s red endive is a bit bitter, but it pairs well with the Caesar vinaigrette and bread crumbs. I’m a big fan of the American Waygu Bavette’s flavor, but it was covered in peppercorn, which made it hard to taste. I ended up scraping it off and enjoying the meat’s flavor without the heavy peppercorn. I also ordered it medium temperature, and it was pretty tender, but not quite medium. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the churros. They were made perfectly and looked adorable. The dulce de leche sauce was my favorite of the two sauces.
