                                          Second time dining here, this time with a party of 2. Both times had similar experiences. Food was pretty good and atmosphere is nice but service and wait times need a lot of work. Both times we were not able to get drink refills, and to get the initial drink took over 40 minutes to get to table. First time we were with a group of 10 and everyone’s food came out at different times (some people were finished eating while others were still waiting for food). Second experience we were there for 3.5 hours and took our dessert to go. Has the potential be a good restaurant when the kinks and service is figured out. Our waitress spent more time behind the bar crafting cocktails for other tables rather than checking on her tables. Not her fault but just an overall management/staffing problem.

                                          A fixed menu with 5 courses that were serves every 30 mins and were bite size pieces that were like warm served on plastic plates and out forks were never replaced during the courses of food. Eating strawberry shortcake with a fork that’s had brussel sprouts on them was not good! No napkins on the table to lay the one fork and spoon on. The dining experience took 3,.5 hours on NYE making us late for our next event didn’t make it to the party until after 11pm . My husband said we would never be back. The waitresses were nice they tried! Also they were out of wine, woodford and most beers! Just a bad experience overall thankfully for the company we were with otherwise it would have been miserable

                                          Scarlett remains the favored wait staff and bartend for us. The NYE 5 course meal was really well done- tantalizing choices for entrees and desserts-flavorful fare with Frankfort flare patronage. The eatery should respond to guests’ inquiries via open table text messages and phone calls and voicemails. The Delegate next door who is associated with Cypress & Oak, needs customer service coaching. Cypress & Oak overall is nice, a great change of pace for Frankfort and a welcome change. Hoping new establishment hiccups subside and this business continues to grow and thrive. Check it out sometime soon.

                                          The food and setting was amazing. The service needed more support. I observed a few people doing most of the work serving the tables. If the waiters had more help the service would have been much better. Also, our waiter was not informed about the menu. She was very nice but she did not have help.

                                          Steak medallions were very good. My husband’s chicken was good, but the “seasonal” vegetables were mediocre. Drinks from the bar were a bit slow. Overall a nice spot- we’ll try again.

                                          The filet medallions were beautifully prepared with potatoes of a perfect consistency and flavor. The chocolate tarte was to die for as was the lemon cheesecake. Service by Jesycka was top notch. All around a wonderful experience.

                                          Ambiance was excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Would love to see more options for the side items instead of three potato choices.

                                          Had the salmon- portion was a nice size and excellent flavoring . My friend had the hamburger which is a better value. Parking is a little tricky but ambience is special!
