                                              Wow. Absolutely delicious. A charming little spot and a really special experience to be basically alongside the chef as they prepare your meal. Highly recommend! It's BYOB, a fact I didn't catch before I arrived. Just a head's up!

                                              Such a lovely experience at Da Barbara! Our group of friends regularly dine out and we love to try interesting restaurants. Da Barbara is worth the visit. We dined in the downstairs area which overlooks the open kitchen where Barbara herself is preparing the meal. The room itself is so beautiful with a majestic chandelier holding center court. Its lovely, elegant, yet very comfortable and cozy at the same time. The food was absolutely stellar! The pasta is fresh and handmade, the sea bass was spectacular, and don't miss out on the meatballs. It is BYOB, and we brought a bottle of bubbly to start, and some Italian reds to pair with the meal. The only problem is parking, so arrive a little early so you can find something available on the street as there is not a lot or valet. We will be back for sure!

                                              Barbara has set up quite the exquisite boutique restaurant! First of all her and her staff of 2 others could not have been more welcoming, charming and on it !!! But the food- !!! Everything home made and the comforting taste of home in Rome ( i would assume !!) loved the whole evening !! Thank you Barbara !! Delish !

                                              I am afraid to leave this review because this restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in the entire world. Every dish was literally a tastegasm. It is like you went to your best friend’s who can cook house and she served you everything you ever needed in your entire life.

                                              What an absolutely fantastic experience! A wonderful intimate dinner with extraordinary dishes and every bite was one of admiration of Barbara and her staff’s labor of love. This is one my most favorite experiences in memory which includes several Michelin three star restaurants. This is an LA gem and not to be missed!

                                              ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! Chef @barbara_pollastrini from Rome, Italy recently opened this little gem. She is living her dream with her new restaurant, @da_barbara_p …It is an intimate little place where Chef talks to you as she cooks the most amazing authentic, Italian food. Literally every single dish was incredible! Felt like I was back in Italy. 🇮🇹 She’ll tell you stories about how she cooks 5 different types of tomatoes differently, then blends them together to make her sauce. And how she gets the most tender, high quality meat from a farmer in Ohio who only sells to a select few. Her menu changes daily depending on her fresh farmer’s market finds. 10/10. Superb. Bring your friends. Tell your friends. It’s special. It’s authentic. GO!✨ I could go on & on about every element of every dish—the ricotta, the carrots, the peas in a sauce with the fried mushrooms that I died over, the focaccia bread I could not stop eating, the Arancini balls, the filet mignon roll...🤌🏼💀…I got lucky and she had a Bolognese Pasta special that was so incredible, I got another to-go—-and it was the last one of the night. Okay, I’ll stop—wait, the dessert! I can’t. 💀💀

                                              Wonderful, delicious authentic Italian cooking! I was a single diner and first guest of the evening, and to my delight seated in a cushioned bench right in front of kitchen. Such attention to detail from the server and Chef Barbara. Bring your own wine ! Highly recommended!
