This was my first time eating at this restaurant since it changed from Smitty's and I am so happy that another restaurant has moved into this space which was my favourite location. The food was very good the ambience was lovely, tastefully decorated the only thing I want to add is I found the wait staff hovered too much. I appreciate the attentiveness but it made me feel rushed. Would definitely recommend folks try it out. It was nice to have a number of mocktails to choose from and I really enjoyed the Maldives Night I had. Great for people who don't drink but still would like to have something other than regular drinks to drink.

I’d been salivating over the Instagram photos since the restaurant opened. Well, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and satisfied my craving for delicious pasta. The server was fabulous and the restaurant is nice. Highly recommend! I will 100% be back.

Wonderful, beautiful new restaurant in downtown Halifax! Excellent food, friendly, professional service, bright elegant atmosphere. Lots of variety of both food and beverage choices on the menu. Everything we had was excellent. We were also impressed by the Mocktail choices--very appreciated! We have needed a new place like this in the neighbourhood for a while now, and I hope that Da Zero is around for a long time! (Definitely our new "special occasion place!)

New restaurant open for 3 weeks...nice ambiance, polite and friendly servers. Tasty calamari and well cooked. Tagliatelle lamb was nice but served a bit too quickly, so it sat, and pasta got sticky and sauce sitting at the bottom. Had to resquest sea salt and craked pepper to up it up. In the end, it was bad serving timing. Feedback was given to restaurant for learning and improvement. We will return.

Overall, our experience was fine. Food was ok, overpriced for the value. Ordered the halibut and for $35 had higher expectations for the plate. Other dishes were average. Arancini was probably the best of the items ordered. Initial serving of focaccia was free, but there’s a charge after that. Service was ok. Server was nice but had to ask for water refills; find when we had been ready for bill for quite sometime. I don’t think we’ll be back, given the other options for Italian in the city.

My family of 4 LOVED our experience at Da Zero's. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was welcoming and quite comfortable. The service was exceptional as well. We enjoyed our lunch. My 6 year old feasted on buttered pasta and bread.

Had a great time here! The food was amazing. I ordered the seafood pasta, and it was extraordinary—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a delicious and satisfying meal.

This place is amazing! Truth be told, I didn’t have super high expectations due to it being located on spring garden (which is full of... tourist traps), but the service and food were top notch! It’s also not too expensive. I will be back with friends.
