Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.

Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.

Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays.
Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day.
Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day.
We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served.

Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

Much of the produce at this Italian-by-way-of-the-Midwest restaurant comes from chef Joe Frillman's brother's farm outside Chicago. Find it in playful dishes like onion dip with housemade Ruffles, fritto misto with cheese curds, and pierogi with mussels and beer.

Me and my husband came for late brunch. The place was full and very noisy. So if you are looking to comunicate to each other it’s a challenge. Food was tasty even though for brunch there is no salad or starters so we just tasted two of their famous pasta dishes. Both excellent! Service? If the restaurant will automatically apply %25 to your check to take care of their employees as they announce there need to be a quality selection of people. Our server was absolutely careless and after we finish our pastas she directly brought us the check (%25 included) without even asking if we wish to have coffee and dessert. May be we’ll try the dinner menu next hoping for a better attitude from the servers!

Bustling Sunday brunch atmosphere and all dishes were delicious and a few notch’s up from the traditional brunch fare. Loved the truffle eggs and biscuits and gravy and MA cocktails. Wonderful service. Will be back.

food was incredible! i got the housemade lavender and fig kombucha and was absolutely blown away. then the sweet potato and Fritto Misto were shared before my mushroom pappardelle came out. everything was so flavorful. i loved the textures and quality of everything. can't wait to try something new next time i come.

Food was incredible. Stracci with lamb was delicious and had a nice zest to it. Rigatoni had a nice kick and crunch with just the right amount of spice, a pleasant surprise. The house ruffles were crunchy and yet melted in your mouth with the onion dip. The PB Cookie dough brownie ice cream may be some of the best I’ve had in my entire life and that is not an overstatement. Service was quick and kind and the establishment overall was well worth the price we paid for it.

Absolutely incredible experience. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared with really fresh, well balanced ingredients. The attention to detail is unmatched. There wasn’t a single thing we at that wasn’t immaculate. The cream puff desert is a revelation, the house made ruffles with onion dip (get the caviar add on!) was to die for. For entree we did the tamarin and the ravioli, both just incredible. I could drink the sauce from that ravioli from a cup and just be happy it was that good! Very friendly attentive server who knew exactly when to check on us and when to leave us alone to enjoy our meal. Could not recommend daisies more! And if you need a tasty party for you morning commute, they also have you covered. Will be back!
